Details

The nearest airport to the town of Sansepolcro is the Perugia airport 'San Francesco d'Assisi Airport' which is approximately a 45 minute drive away. The next airport would be Florence airport 'Amerigo Vespucci Airport' which is just over a 2 hour drive to Sansepolcro. Public transport from Perugia airport is a bit more difficult than driving from here. There are a limited number of taxis, or a bus with few times, that when you arrive that will take you to Perugia train station. From here you can get a train to Arezzo and then a bus or another train to Sansepolcro. There are multiple train/bus routes that can get you here that will be dependent on the day. There is a ticket office in Perugia station that will be able to help with this. Public transport from Florence is more frequent. There are airport shuttles or taxis available that will take you direct to Florence train station. From here you can take a train to Arezzo and then a bus into Sansepolcro. Google maps will also provide various other train/bus routes in and all take between 2hr 15mins to approx 3 hours. We can help with arranging airport transfers if required, there will be an option to leave your email on the RSVP page so we can contact you relating to transport help over the week.

Flights

The nearest town to the villa is the town of Sansepolcro (10 minutes drive away). It is only a small town but there are plenty of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants in this area. There are limited hotels but plenty of apartments or b&amp;b's which you can find on any credible travel website. Further afield is the city of Arezzo (40 minutes drive away) which is accessible through a bus link that takes approximately 1 hour. There are more facilities here as it is a small city and again limited hotels but plenty of apartments or b&amp;bs that can be found on any credible travel website. We have reserved a nearby villa (10 minute walk) for guests, this would be a private bedroom and bathroom with access to a pool, communal kitchen, gym and spa facilities. There are currently 2 remaining spaces, please get in contact if you would like further information on this. Accommodation

Unfortunately public transport is limited to the villa due to its hill location. You can get a bus near to the base of the hill and it is then approximately a 40 minute walk up/down. There is public transport available in both the areas of Sansepolcro and Arezzo are available. Please note in Sansepolcro this is much more limited versus Arezzo. We highly recommend guests hire a car for the area if they are able and comfortable. There are a few taxis services that require prebooking.
