What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

The start time for the ceremony begins at 1:00pm. We ask all guests to arrive at St. John’s the Baptist by 12:30pm.

Can we bring our kids?

While we love your little ones, our wedding is an adult-only event. We ask that you make this night a date night and please find a sitter. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the little ones at home, so you can celebrate with us!

What should I do in between the ceremony and reception?

If you are staying at the hotel, we encourage you to get yourself settled and checked in. If you live close by, you can head home and prepare for a great night!

How far is the ceremony from the reception?

The drive from St. John’s to The Waterfall is approximately 32 minutes.

Is there a dress code?

Yes, Black-Tie Optional. We ask that men wear suits and women wear floor length gowns. Preferably dark colors.

When should I reserve a room?

We recommend booking your room ASAP. Once the hotel reaches 80% occupancy, no additional rooms can be added to our block.

I didn’t get a meal card, what are the food options?

We are lucky enough to not need food orders before our wedding day. You will be provided a menu with options of chicken, beef, and fish at your seat and it will be ordered right then and there. If you have a food allergy- there will an option to accommodate you.

There are no rooms available under the room block, what should I do?

We have an additional room block with The Westin Wilmington. The Westin is approximately 14 minutes from the venue. Please utilize the link to this block under the “travel” section.
