One midnight in June of 2006, Gianne and Adam met at an Irish Bar in Mount Vernon, Baltimore. The two hit it off right away! Gianne remembered Adam being so animated and very talkative that Gianne was not able to capture everything that he said, so Gianne just watched him while thinking how cute he was and how she loved his blue eyes! On the other hand, Adam was thinking how pretty, sweet, and quiet Gianne was (which as we write this piece he had to say definitely "not quiet").

Gianne met Adam's mom, Betty, the first month they were dating. Betty was so sweet and very animated like Adam. She showed Gianne pictures of Adam when he had a Mohawk and this was the first time Gianne heard about Adam's infamous purple Mohawk and the other things he'd put in his hair before (Lol!)! Gianne later met the rest of Adam's wonderful family at that year's Thanksgiving which happened to be Gianne's very first Thanksgiving.

Adam met Gianne's family on August of that same year which was on Gianne's birthday party. Adam remembered meeting Gianne's dad, George, and that George was giving him a grumpy face (Lol!). Don't worry, Adam and George are now so close the two can't stop talking to each other when they meet. This was also the first time Adam saw a grilled fish with its head on and does not know if he wants to eat it since it still has its head.

Adam introduced Gianne to his friends on July of that year at the "Buehlfest" . There were so many people on that party that Gianne had some trouble remembering people's names. All of Adam's friends were so sweet and they all started talking to her. She remembered being warned about the magic punch (apparently it's really strong!), how nice Adam's friends are especially the host of the party (Mr. & Mrs. Buehl), and the dice game that she kept on losing.

Interestingly enough, Adam did not meet the rest of Gianne's close friends until after 8 years (he met her colleagues before that). He met them during Gianne's surprise 30th birthday party that he threw for her. Her friends have heard a lot about Adam but has never officially met him so they are all relieved to know that he is not just a pigment of Gianne's imagination (JK!).

A few months after they started dating, Gianne and Adam got their first apartment in Parkville. In about a year and a half, Adam bought the house in Baltimore where they now live.

Four years and one day after they met, Adam proposed to Gianne at Deep Creek Lake. He proposed at the very place that they went for their first vacation with the only heirloom he's ever had, his grandmother's engagement ring. It was a very emotional day for both of them. Gianne remembered Adam's hand shaking and of course hers too! Shocked about the proposal, instead of saying yes right away, the first thing Gianne said to Adam was "Are you sure? Are you sure?" and both of them started laughing!

Five years after their engagement, Gianne and Adam are finally tying the knot! So this is where another chapter begins...
