Here you can find some answers to some common questions that can come up. If you would like any clarification, please reach out to us and we will be able to assist!
If you are in need of accommodations for the wedding, please check the "accommodation" tab or you can search Air B&B for close by rentals!
What happens if I forget to RSVP?
If you do not RSVP we will not have you counted into the total guest number for the reception, and therefore you will not be able to attend the wedding. We ask that you kindly RSVP before the deadline stated on your invitation stating your absence or attendance. Please let us know if you have any trouble with the RSVP section on the website and we can help!
How do I know if I have a plus one?
Unfortunately, due to the size of the venue and our own personal decision, the only plus ones will be indicated on the invitation (ie. John and Anna ). If your guest as indicated on the invitation is not able to come, you are kindly asked to not substitute your guest. We would like to share this day with close family and friends and those indicated on the invitations only.
How do I know if my children are invited to the wedding?
If your children/ members of your party are listed on the invitation ie. "John and Anna and family", then your children are invited to both the ceremony and reception dinner. When you RSVP, please ensure you indicate which children (if all we had indicated on the invitation) are attending as well as their ages for the catering staff.
My Children are invited and will be attending the wedding, what about the reception?
All of the children who are listed on the invitation are invited to the ceremony AND reception dinner. We kindly ask that children under 12 do not attend the later portion of the dance of the evening as this will be more adult centred. If you have any questions or concerns please reach out to the bride.
Will there be childcare at the wedding?
There will not be childcare provided during the wedding festivities. If your children are invited and are attending, please organize your own childcare if needed for the evening. There will be colouring items for young children available for children and small group table/ card games for the dance portion of the evening.
What is the Wedding Dress Code?
The general guideline is semi-formal/formal garden party {no fascinators required :) } We kindly ask that you avoid floor length white and Ivory dresses, as well as steel/ dusty blue gowns to help distinguish yourselves from the bridal party. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to the bride :)
Where is the Registry?
Our Wedding Registry is found under the tab "Registry" on this website. This is to be used for all wedding related events. We, as a couple appreciate your presence on our day and during the wedding festivities. If you would like to give a gift, there is a registry tab with our registry and alternate registry links (Canadian tire, Amazon, Dream farm etc.) as well as a Household and Honeymoon fund should you choose a monetary gift instead. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us regarding the registry and gifts. There is more information regarding the registry under the "Registry" tab on this website!
I have diatarity restrictions, what do I do?
Thankfully, our catering staff for the wedding have kindly and openly offered to adhere and adapt to each persons dietary needs. When you RSVP, please indicate your allergies/ restrictions so we are able to have a meal catered to you. If you do not indicate dietary restrictions we will not have food safe for you to eat.
Can I take Photos and Videos of the wedding?
Photos and Videos of the ceremony are not permitted. We have hired a wonderful photographer to capture our day for us and we simply want you to enjoy it! You are aloud to take photos during the reception, with or without us, however we kindly ask that you refrain from posting images of our day until myself and Daniel have posted our photos.
Should I carry cash or card on me for the reception?
While there are ATMs in the venue, it would be easier to have both some cash and your cards available at the reception.
If I am not staying at the Hotel (Glynmill Inn), how do I get home if I am drinking?
While we want you all to have a great time, we also want you to be safe. Please ensure you have a designated driver or you take a taxi home/ to the place you are staying. We do not yet have Uber in Corner Brook.
