We met at Buena High School, Sierra Vista, AZ. Though in different class years we kept up an easy friendship and correspondence over the years that eventually led to a relationship. Being great friends for three years only contributed to a strong relationship spent hundreds to thousands of miles apart at times. Our dates landed us in Seattle, Tucson, San Diego, and more as our love deepened and matured. We were lucky to be able to live together in San Diego with the gracious support of our parents until Anton commissioned in the US Army Infantry and we moved together to start our life in Georgia. Now on the cusp of moving to Hawaii together for his first assignment, we have had time to enjoy many experiences and hobbies together, of which the list is practically endless! We share a deep love of National Parks and outdoor pursuits, a mutual appreciation of animals which has led us to many aquariums and zoos across the country, a love of beaches and seafood (of which there are/is plenty to enjoy in Hawaii) yet none of this stops us from staying in and enjoying cooking a meal and debating which movie to watch. We share our home with our Rabbit Winnie and our Cat Mouse who are arguably more excited than us to don floral shirts and get their toes in the sand. We are so excited to close out this chapter of our life with a beautiful wedding celebration surrounded by friends, family, and loved ones in time for us to depart the continental US.
