What Day Should I Arrive?

This is a 3-4 day event, starting on Thursday the 20th in the afternoon, and ending Sunday the 23th in mid-morning. We chose this venue and style of wedding for the specific purpose of spending as much time as possible with the people we love. We encourage everyone to join us on Thursday if you would like to help setup and get to know everyone before the wedding on Friday. We will be having a split evening Thursday, to keep the bride and groom separate the night before their wedding, each party to have their own set of festivities. Of course if you can't make it Thursday, Friday is just fine as well. Check the wedding day itinerary on the homepage for more information on the wedding day itself.

What About the Kiddos?

While we love your little ones, our wedding is an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the weekend with us. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us. No exceptions.

Is There a Dress Code?

Fantasy Formal attire. Think Woodland Fantasy for the theme. If you have any questions about the attire, please contact the bride.

May I bring a Plus One?

Our venue is very strict with the guest limit, therefore we can only allow those listed on the invitation specifically. Thank you for understanding.

What about the food

Typically within John's family, for events or camping trips we split meals up between everyone. For example, a couple takes a single day to cook breakfast and dinner for everyone staying, and then take care of all the cleanup for both meals as well. The best thing about this system is you get to chill for the rest of the trip and not have to worry about cooking and cleaning everyday while traveling. Since there are enough people coming, we figure everyone can take a single meal instead of an entire day. This ensures everyone is fed and not everyone has to bring a massive amount of food for themselves. John and Gillian will create a signup sheet. Bring your own snacks and beer for the 4 days!

Can I take photos during the wedding?

We respectfully request that guests do not take photographs or videos during the ceremony as professional pictures will be taken throughout the day. We invite you to relax and enjoy the moment and we'll gladly share these images with you after the celebration.

RSVP?

Please get back to us as soon as possible, especially if you plan on staying on the property with us, as sleeping arrangements are first come first serve. Our reservation is for 16 guests to stay on property, any one after that may need to find their own accommodations elsewhere.
