Back in 2017, we met in high school through mutual friends. If you ask around, several friends will take credit for this match-making! Shortly after, we began dating on March 25, 2017. Peter then graduated and was soon leaving for California Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo. We decided we would brave the long distance, and we are incredibly happy we did!

In 2018, Gillian graduated high school and began attending Boise State University in Idaho. What was 257 miles of distance turned into 846. Although there were many weeks spent apart, traveling to California and Idaho left us with some of the most amazing memories we will always cherish (Thank you Southwest Airlines!)

We spent Summers in both of these special locations. Gillian moved out to San Luis Obispo in 2021 while Peter followed by moving to Boise for the Summer of 2022. After Peter's graduation in December of 2022, he accepted a job in the Bay Area. Since then, he has been waiting (ever so patiently) for Gillian to finish her graduate program. We are incredibly happy to say the long distance is ending, as Gillian will be relocating back to the Bay Area in the Summer of 2024.

Throughout our time together, we have grown individually and together, with our relationship being the consistent foundation. We are ecstatic to begin this new phase of life finally in the same place!
