If you are one of our guests traveling by air to San Luis Obispo there's a few options to get here!
Option 1: San Luis Obispo is served by a regional airport with daily flights offered by United, American, and Alaska. All of these carriers operate the smaller Embraer regional jets. United flights will connect through either Denver, Los Angeles, or San Francisco, American through Phoenix or Dallas, and Alaska through Seattle, San Diego, or Portland.
Option 2: San Jose International Airport is located about 3 hours north of San Luis Obispo, San Francisco about 4 hours, and Oakland about 4 hours. The flight options and prices will likely be better should you choose to fly into one of these airports, but you'll likely need to rent a car to drive down to San Luis Obispo.
San Luis Obispo is a very walkable city, especially if you are staying in the downtown area. There is an abundance of Ubers and Lyfts available and they can easily access our wedding venue!
Downtown San Luis Obispo is charming, and there is lots to see and do in town. If you are looking to branch out, other places to stay would be Avila Beach, Morro Bay, or Pismo Beach. We have included links to several of our favorites below!
This is arguably one of our favorite spots in San Luis Obispo. The Granada provides a very boutique-y vibe and is gorgeous! The bistro has incredible food and the Nightcap has served us some delicious cocktails over the years.
Hotel San Luis Obispo is another great boutique hotel option. Their property is in the heart of downtown with many great restaurants and bars within walking distance! Hotel San Luis Obispo also has their own rooftop bar that is great for a sunset cocktail!
Newly refurbished! And great value - complementary hot breakfast and a beer and wine happy hour. A bit further from downtown SLO, but a 10 minute walk will put you back in town.
