This is the one Gina sent to her mom. She got covid about a week after they met. He stood outside every day until she was able to come to the window to talk to him. On the 10th day he arrived as soon as possible to wrap his arms around her. They have never wanted to be apart since.

Modern Love: Gina & Jonathan made a connection on Bumble! Gina's sister, Allison gets the credit for this match as she swiped on Jonathan. He was posing, quite irresistibly, with a koala on his profile. Due to Covid they did not meet in person for several months. When Gina moved to Birmingham, they decided to meet at a Wine Bar called Freddy's just up the street from Gina's apartment and down the street from Jonathan's office. They had literally ended up that close in proximity to one another. Their temperatures were taken and hands were sprayed as they entered the restaurant. He was already waiting at a table as she walked across the room. The date was lovely. She invited him back to meet the pets to see if there would be a second date. Gina only wanted to be with a person who could love Riley, BabyFinn, Lela & Daisy, too! They joke about how Jonathan may have thought he was going to get lucky. Truth is they were all lucky that day. This photo is from their one year anniversary of that first date.

Gina & Jonathan's first trip to New York together, to attend Jessica & Ray's wedding and to meet the family. The city was vacant, very different from the city that Jonathan knew. They rode their bicycles across the Brooklyn Bridge, were among only a handful of people in Time Square (it resembled a scene from TWD), and enjoyed a picnic lunch in Sheep's Meadow, Central Park.

Gina fell in love with the Berkshire Mountains immediately. They get breakfast at a country store, Sherwood Shoppe, near Jonathan's families summer home since 1976 in Becket, MA. They have a chicken coup on site for the freshest eggs!

Riley hurt her foot that day at the park and Jonathan carried her home. She is his princess.

As long as the weather is nice, Jonathan & BabyFinn get their daily game of fetch. Best friends!

Lela fell from the 3rd floor balcony and dislocated her hip. It would not pop back into place and needed surgery. She required much attention for her eight week recovery. She is now "the million dollar cat" because they did make her better, more affectionate.

Jonathan took Gina to the Macy's Day Thanksgiving Parade and walked her over to Central Park after. He found a bench in a secluded little spot. He suggested she sit down, then he got down on one knee. She was so surprised! She said YES, of course!
