Here on the east coast, you are in one of the best places in the country for hiking! Whether you want to take a light trail within the city limits that guides you along the coast line or something a little more challenging, the East Coast Trail has so many options to choose from. If you have a few hours or you want to take a full day, there is 336km on the Avalon Peninsula you can explore. Many trails are along side the ocean where you get to see the expansiveness of our coastlines with perhaps a whale or two breaching out of the water to greet you. It’s something you don’t want to miss!
