We can't wait to celebrate with everyone this Saturday! Please visit the "Important Day-Of Info" tab for travel and transportation tips for Saturday, October 25, including ways to avoid Krewe of Boo traffic and road closures.
Hi everyone,
We are so excited to celebrate with you next weekend in New Orleans! As you may know, the Krewe of Boo Halloween parade will also be taking place on Saturday, October 25, and we want to make sure everyone can arrive smoothly and avoid any traffic headaches.
The parade begins at 6:30 PM at Elysian Fields Avenue and will make its way through the French Quarter. By the time it reaches the Jackson Square area, our reception will already be well underway inside Muriel’s, but the French Quarter will be very busy leading up to the parade.
To help make your arrival stress-free, here are a few tips and recommendations:
🚗 Arrive Early
If you plan to park near the French Quarter, we recommend arriving earlier in the afternoon to secure a spot before the parade crowds arrive.
There are plenty of restaurants and bars around Jackson Square if you’d like to grab a bite or drink before the ceremony.
You can search for nearby parking lots here:
🚲 Use a Pedicab or Rideshare
If you’re staying locally for the weekend, we suggest taking an Uber, Lyft, or Pedicab from your hotel to Jackson Square for the ceremony.
Here are a few local Pedicab companies:
NOLA Pedicabs: (504) 274-1300
Need A Ride Pedicabs: (504) 488-6565
Bike Taxi Unlimited Pedicabs: (504) 891-3441
🅿️ Consider Parking on the Perimeter
Our venue contacts recommend parking in paid lots on the perimeter of the French Quarter (such as on Rampart St) and taking a short rideshare or pedicab ride to Jackson Square if the walk feels too far. It is best to avoid Esplanade or Decatur unless you are planning to arrive earlier in the day.
We hope this helps everyone plan ahead and arrive with ease. Thank you so much for taking the time to prepare, we can’t wait to celebrate with you!
With love,
Julia &Giovanna
