Hi everyone,We are so excited to celebrate with you next weekend in New Orleans! As you may know, the&nbsp;Krewe of Boo Halloween parade&nbsp;will also be taking place on&nbsp;Saturday, October 25, and we want to make sure everyone can arrive smoothly and avoid any traffic headaches. The parade begins at&nbsp;6:30 PM at Elysian Fields Avenue&nbsp;and will make its way through the French Quarter. By the time it reaches the&nbsp;Jackson Square area, our reception will already be well underway inside&nbsp;Muriel’s, but the French Quarter will be&nbsp;very busy leading up to the parade. IMPORTANT DAY-OF INFO

PLEASE BE ADVISED:We have been alerted by our reception venue that there has been a Halloween parade in the French quarter scheduled for October 25, 2025 set to begin around 6:30 PM. While we didn't know of these plans when we booked our special day, we won't let it ruin the fun! The Parade is set to go down Decatur St, make a U on Canal St, and continue down Tchoupitoulas.

TRANSPORTATION TO RECEPTION VENUE Parking in/around the French Quarter can be tough. We'd hate to see our guests frustrated by lack of parking, or missing out on the party, so we recommend guests Uber/Lyft from their hotels or from a nearby parking garage!

A Classic Tale...Giovanna Swiped Right Giovanna sent me her rose &amp; responded to a prompt I had set.. "First round on me if you can guess my Harry Potter house". Spoiler Alert: her guess was wrong! It still worked though! Chatting with Giovanna was easy and felt natural. Before we knew it, we were messaging constantly. We had our first date at Tommy's on Thomas. I was so smitten I stepped on Giovanna's foot when I walked up to greet her. Our first date was amazing! We talked for hours, in fact, we ended up going to a bar down the street after dinner so we could keep talking. We both knew very quickly we were only interested in pursuing each other. Even though I lived in Port Allen and Giovanna lived in Loranger, we were inseparable. August 10, 2024 : Giovanna asked me to be her wife! She planned the most special weekend at The Big Easy Cabin, a place very special to us and my family.

WHERE WILL THE CEREMONY & RECEPTION TAKE PLACE?

The ceremony will be held in front of the fountain in Jackson Square. There will be limited seating for those that need it, but mostly standing room. We will do a second line looping around Jackson Square, leading us to our reception venue, Muriel's.

What Is The Dress Code?

We would love to see our family and friends dressed up with us! We are requesting evening cocktail dress code for the ceremony and reception. Suggestions Include: Women: Cocktail dress, midi or full-length dress Men: Suits, dress pants with a tie or bow tie, or tuxedo

WHEN SHOULD I RSVP BY?

To help us with our planning, please RSVP by September 19, 2025. If we don't receive your RSVP by this date, we will have to mark you as a no.

IS THE VENUE INDOOR OR OUTDOOR?

The ceremony will be outdoor followed by a second line around Jackson Square. Please be sure to wear comfortable shoes if you want to join us! The reception will be indoor.
