Grace and Alexander met at Taylor University on the third floor of Euler Science Complex (the best building on campus). They were brother sister wings (if you know, you know), on First West Wengatz and Third West Olson. They really became friends at a bro sis wing event watching the Super Bowl in 2020 and later were neighbors over the summer at Taylor while they were working and doing research in their respective fields. Later, they reconnected in the spring of 2021, and Grace went to visit Alexander in Washington DC while he was working at an internship. They started dating around November 2021. Alexander started his PhD at the University of Michigan in electrical and computer engineering in the fall of 2022, and Grace just moved to Ann Arbor to continue her medical school clerkships. They got engaged on March 25, 2023 at Fossil Creek, Alexander's family home in Kentucky.
