I have known Makenna since junior year of college and we became good friends over a mutual love of Gas City starbucks runs, CrossFit, and chaos.

Sister of the groom, Meredith and I both love thrifting and anything athletic as well as playing games. Meredith is attending Taylor University this year which I am is STOKED about.

I became besties with Katie the moment I walked into a Lansing crossfit gym and gave Katie a hug. From then on we have done competitions, sleepovers, boat days, wine nights (hehe) and more.

Julia and I also became friends at the Lansing crossfit gym and share an extreme love for Taylor Swift and country music as well as a good long workout.

Taylor and I became friends also at the same Lansing crossfit gym and have had many adventures involving Obi-Wan (her cat) as well as Bailey (our favorite dog).

Maggie Bickhart is one of Alexander's good friends wives which is how they met. We share a love of Taylor Swift, iced lattes and hanging out with the best Taylor people around, Will, Alexander and Logan.

Claire and I have been friends since the 7th grade. They became friends over "All Too Well" by Taylor Swift and running cross country. Since then we've been to numerous concerts, France, and countless coffee shops.

Meaghan and I became friends at medical school during one of our standardized doctor exams and then at the pool of our apartment complex. Meaghan got me to do an Ironman 70.3, but I hasn't gotten Meaghan to come to a crossfit workout yet. Still waiting. I love Meaghan's cat Kita who is the best cat ever.

Ethan is my second oldest (and longest known) brother. He and I have countless inside jokes having spent so much of our childhood together, and he is known for keeping me on my toes. He and I both love Star Wars and debating most any topic you can think of.

Eyob is my favorite Ethiopian brother. I can count on him for fashion advice (although I admittedly don't always take it), good cooking, and as a willing participant in any game. Eyob and I both love soccer, though he probably takes the top spot there, and share the duties of "being responsible" in the contingent of McFarland siblings.

Max is my youngest brother, and possibly my clone sent from the future. He and I share a love of all things STEM, but his animal facts best mine any day. We older siblings tend to give Max a hard time, but he is actually pretty fun to be around so don't be afraid to dance with him at the wedding.

Andrew is my longest standing friend and has known me since I was 8 years old. He and I are still close friends and we went through middle school together, so that says something. Andrew and I love the outdoors and adventuring, and I'm thankful that our friendship can still grow after all this time.

Peter is the newest addition to my collection of brothers, and he fits in quite well. He's as witty as the best of them, and always has a good conversation topic on hand. Maybe most importantly, I'm ready to become his faithful padawan in the ways of the Detroit Lions.

Logan and I met at Taylor University during our sophomore year. We have bonded over a substantial number of spike ball games and philosophy conversations, and I'm not sure which one we are more qualified for. Logan is the best "Guess the Word" player you'll ever meet, so much that I would say he doesn't belong in this...well if you know you know.

Will and I met our freshman year at Taylor University, where he eventually convinced me to be his ride-or-die pick-a-date. While we may have spent a lot of time studying in Euler, Will is "famously down" for anything (shoutout G Sis). Most impressive, though, is his dancing, which I can't wait to see come June.

Zach and I met our first day on campus at Taylor University, and subsequently roomed together for the next four years. While we may have been bad at pillow talk, I'm happy to say that we have only become closer friends over the past five years.
