Those of you who grew up with us at UNA know the FULL story. You also know that there is not enough space here for us to tell the whole story... Here is the Sparknotes version...

Brody is from Decatur and went to UNA to study Geographic Information Science (GIS). He played basketball for UNA during his first year of school. Grace is from Cullman and went to UNA to study Elementary Education.

Their paths crossed in Wesleyan Hall when they both were in class together in GE 111 - Weather and Climate with Dr. Koti. They were also both members of the Honors College.

Their first date was in July 2017. They went to dinner at Sam's Sports Grill. Brody had the chicken fingers and fries, while Grace opted for the southwest salad. After dinner, they went to the Decatur Mall to the movie theater where they saw Dunkirk. This was also the night Grace met Brody's parents for the first time. Fast forward to the fall semester... Grace and Brody went to the Lambda Sigma Phi pajama date party. Later that night, they shared their first kiss. A week later, on October 21st, they officially started dating.

In December 2017, Grace took a trip to Nashville with Brody's family. On that trip, she knew she loved Brody. BUT she didn't tell him yet. At the annual Bink Family Christmas, Brody met Grace's family for the first time. It wasn't until February 14, 2018 that Brody and Grace said "I love you" for the first time.

Brody and Grace dated for the next 2.5 years and made many memories together. Some of those include date parties, formals, holidays with each other's families, day trips to new locations, and family beach vacations. Brody even got Grace to go hunting a few times. Let's just say Grace prefers fishing over hunting.

Brody graduated from UNA in December 2019 with a degree in GIS. Grace graduated from UNA in May 2020 with a degree in Elementary Education K-6. They got engaged on August 1, 2020 in the Knight family sunflower field. Brody disguised it as family pictures but completely caught Grace by surprise.

Shortly after graduating, Brody accepted a job at Cullman Electric Cooperative where he enjoys flying drones and keeping all maps up to date for the Co-op. Grace accepted a teaching position immediately after graduating and is now teaching third grade at Hayden Elementary.

Brody and Grace just recently bought their first house in Cullman and will live there come November with their one year old golden doodle, Kobe. After almost 4 years of being together, they can't wait to be married on November 6, 2021.
