Considering unpredictable Iowan winters, please wear anything that is comfortable for you. Come prepared with coats to stay warm when outside! If needed, wear closed toed shoes/tights under dresses.
Examples for formal attire:
Men: Tailored suits, dress shirts, ties, leather shoes, tuxedos
Women: Cocktail dresses, evening gowns, or pantsuits
Do I have to RSVP?
YES. Please RSVP through the tab on the website so that we can get an accurate headcount and prepare for the wedding accordingly.
When should I RSVP by?
Please RSVP by December 1st.
Where can I park?
For the first part of the ceremony at the Doan residence, please park on the street across from the house.
For the second part of the ceremony, street parking is available. Payment for parking shouldn't be necessary as it is the weekend, but make sure to double check in case anything changes.
What hotels do we stay at?
Any hotel in the area. It is your choice and responsibility to book hotels accordingly. For family coming in from out of town, I recommend a hotel closer to the actual wedding venue so that it is easier to get home after the ceremony is over.
What type of food will be at the ceremony?
Vietnamese food will be served at the second ceremony.
What time should I arrive?
The earlier the better. Since the weather is unpredictable, please plan to leave earlier than usual in order to park and make it on time. We would prefer that you're early rather than late, as we have a set itinerary to follow and the photographer also has a set schedule.
