Grace and Colt met in 2018 during their sophomore year at Mizzou. They were introduced by a mutual friend (and Grace's maid of honor), Kailey Hartman.

After seeing each other for a semester, they put things on pause while Grace studied abroad. The two quickly reconnected when Grace returned from France and have been together ever since.

After graduating from Mizzou, Grace and Colt moved to Chicago together. They've bounced around the city over the past four years and now live in Lincoln Park.

Since graduating, Colt and Grace have taken annual summer trips to explore new places together. Last summer, they traveled to France, starting in Paris and ending in Bordeaux. Colt popped the question at the end of their trip and got down on one knee on the Pont de Pierre.
