Q&A

What Does Parking Entail?

St. Clement is located in the heart of Lincoln Park and the parking is limited, so we recommend carpooling if possible. There is a small parking lot at the church and free street parking on Deming and Wrightwood.

If you park on Clark (or another street that requires paid parking), download the Park Chicago app or pay at the nearest street meter.

Our reception venue has plenty of parking available.

How far is the ceremony from the reception?

Our ceremony is a ~45 min drive from our reception venue. We encourage you to get lunch or grab a drink after our ceremony and explore our neighborhood! We have lunch recommendations listed on the "Things to Do" page. Chicago traffic picks up in the late afternoon, so we recommend leaving the city by 3:30pm.

The Homewood Metra station is right outside our reception venue if you prefer to take the train to the suburbs. If you decide to take the train, you will board the Metra Electric line at Millennium Station or Van Buren Street and get off at the Homewood stop. The train ride is 30-45 min from Chicago to Homewood.

What is the Dress Code?

We’d love for our guests to get fancy with us! Our attire is Black Tie Optional, meaning you can go all out with a floor-length dress / tuxedo or wear a formal dress / suit.

Can I bring my kids?

While we love your little ones, we have decided to host an adults-only reception. Your family is welcome to join us at the ceremony.
