Bekah and Grace met the day they moved into their college dorm, Baker 419, and were best friends before the end of the semester. They then lived together for three years of college. Bekah and Grace have many similarities. One similarity being their love of spontaneous adventures, like the time they stopped at every Buccees on the way from Houston to Lafayette. Bekah has been a shoulder to cry on, a constant rock, and the reason for many smiles over the years. Grace loves Bekah’s sweet heart, silly personality, and her ability to love others greatly. Grace and Bekah are excited to be graduating college and starting their adult lives together! Kent and Grace are thankful for Bekah’s constant friendship in their lives.

Jewel has been in Grace's life since they met on the swim team freshmen year of high school where they instantly became friends. Jewel and Grace would stay at each other's houses for a solid weeks in high school. Grace even had a toothbrush at Jewel's parents house. Even though they have lived hours apart since high school, Jewel and Grace have been able to walk through every stage of life together. Jewel is wise and intentional. She has a heart for others and loves everyone around her so well. Grace knows she can always depend on Jewel. Grace's favorite memories with Jewel is going to Hardy, Arkansas together every summer to Jewel's camp and swimming in the river. Kent and Grace are so grateful for Jewel's wisdom and love for Grace.

Lauren has been a constant in Grace's life since they met. Grace and Lauren met in the dorms freshman year and ended up running home together to Tri Sigma! Most people would probably describe them as opposites. Lauren being structure and planning oriented, and Grace being free-spirited and spontaneous. However, their personalities work perfectly together. Grace is so grateful for Lauren's wisdom and love over the years and cherishes all of their late night couch talks, ice cream dates, and doing anything and everything together. Grace and Kent are so grateful for how well Lauren loves them and the gift it is to walk through life with her!

Maddy has been Grace’s roommate and constant companion since they met Grace’s sophomore year of college. Grace and Maddy have a sister-like bond that consists of them swapping clothes, yelling at each other, crying until they laugh, and laughing until they cry. Grace loves Maddy’s ability to make anyone feel confident and empowered. Grace’s favorite memories with Maddy are running into their house and immediately talking about their days, playing Mario kart, and their late night car rides. Kent's favorite memories with Maddy are arguing. Grace and Kent don’t know what they would do without Maddy in their lives.

Brylee and Grace met in fifth grade on the Swim Team. At first, Brylee did not like Grace; however, Grace followed her around like she was her best friend until they became best friends! Grace and Brylee swam together all throughout middle and high school. They saw each other through their worst, celebrated each other at their best, and laughed in every moment passing. After high school, Brylee started Nursing with Grace at ULL, and they became roommates! They have lived together for three years of college. Grace and Brylee have truly grown up together. Grace could not be more proud of the loving, receptive, strong, and wise women she watched her Brylee grow up to be. Grace actually would not be who she is without having Brylee's friendship throughout life! They have the truest laughs together, and Grace looks up to her so much. Kent and Grace are so excited to see her shine and grow up more together in adult life!

Lauren is Grace’s roommate, bestie, and little sister in Tri Sigma. Lauren has been a friend that Grace prayed to have in college. Lauren is the embodiment of fun, wisdom, comfort, and peace. She supports and encourages Grace at all times and never fails to make her feel loved. Grace is so grateful for all of their memories, from living together to being in the same sorority. She loves how she can tell Lauren absolutely anything with ease and has so much fun just being around her. Grace’s favorite memories with Lauren are sitting on the roof, laughing until their stomachs ached, and begging to come into her room. Kent and Grace are so grateful for Lauren’s constant friendship and special place in their lives!

Julianne has always lived next door to Grace. They really became close when she started taking swimming lessons every summer. She would always talk about her older brother Kent and Blake and how much she loved them. She especially emphasized on Kent and to this day we think she knew what she was doing. Grace absolutely cannot wait to become Julianne's sister! She loves how smart, kind, and witty she is. Julianne loves Grace and Kent so well. She is truly the best friend and little sister Grace believes she could have gotten! Grace and Kent are most proud of the love in her heart for Jesus and the young women she is growing up to be.

Christine and Grace met through Tri Sigma in college. Christine and her family have taken such good care of Grace throughout college. Grace loves that Christine has an insane ability to make her feel so loved and taken care of without even saying a word. Christine is Grace’s guide through big life events. Always giving her the best advice and pointing her back to Jesus. Grace’s favorite memory with Christine is when Christine went into her house and woke her up because she forgot to set an alarm. Christine also made Grace an aunt and Kent a godfather to the cutest baby! Grace and Kent are so grateful for Christine, her husband Isaac, and their daughter Millie’s friendship!

Kennedy and Grace have known each other since starting college. They met through mutual friends. For the past four semesters, Kennedy and Grace have not spent much time apart. They have found themselves either at Grace’s place or at Kennedy's where they are always “studying” nursing and end up just enjoying each other's company. They have shared countless laughs and jokes together. Some people refer to Grace and Kennedy as a married couple because they constantly try to plan their schedules around each other. They study together, cook dinner for each other, and go to church together. Kennedy has been a constant companion and Grace doesn’t know how she would do school or life without her. Grace loves Kennedys boldness and how they can laugh together. Kent and Grace enjoy having Kennedy in their day to day lives very much.

Grace met Klaire on move in day during college. Klaire is someone Grace cannot count the countless hours they have spent late night talking. They have been there for each other throughout life changing events. Grace is so grateful for Klaire’s gentle, patient heart and kind words. She values Klaire’s moral compass and companionship! Grace also values Klaire’s genuine kindness towards others. Klaire cares and loves Grace so well, and she is grateful for her unwavering friendship. Grace’s favorite memory with Klaire is when Klaire (who doesn’t like hugs) gave her a hug. Kent and Grace are so thankful for Klaire's fun and loyal spirit in their lives!

Sarah Grace and Grace met on bid day for Tri Sigma. Sarah and Grace would spend nights at the cottages together talking until 3am. They have been on many trips to Georgia and to the beach together. Grace’s favorite memory with Sarah Grace is driving around town, getting snow cones, and doing “homework” in the park. Sarah is the friend Grace goes to when she needs a supportive friend and good laugh. Sarah Grace has encouraged, supported, and loved Grace well throughout college. She has become Grace's number one cheerleader and always has Grace's back. Grace has enjoyed every step of life with Sarah. Grace and Kent love the way Sarah is silly and a constant.

Blake is Kent's younger brother by three years. Blake has been Kent's number one supporter over the years. If Kent played a sport, Blake was at all the games or was the team manager. If Kent was in a club, Blake joined it too. If Kent had to go somewhere, serve somewhere, or stay somewhere, Blake usually had to too, whether he chose to or not. Now that they are adults, Blake continues to be there for anything Kent or the rest of the family needs, which is why Kent and Grace know he will be there one day for their family as well. Blake has a love for cooking and is always cooking for his family, which is why Kent never learned to cook. Blake is in his junior year of studying food technology at McNeese University.

Matthew and Kent first started off as rivals in high school, but that rivalry turned into a friendship once they both got to college. When Kent got to UL, Matthew got Kent involved at Our Lady of Wisdom, volunteering at a youth group, and lead him in his first regular Bible study group. Matthew has been a spiritual mentor to Kent the last five years and will continue to be an example of how to live a life of faith for Kent and Grace as they move into the next chapter of their life. Matthew plans on being a priest and is serving for a year at St. Peter's Catholic church before beginning his formal studies at Kenrick-Glennon Seminary.

Kent and Ben are cousins eight months apart. They were each other's first best friends and grew up attending cousin camp, building forts and pretending to be spies together. They went to junior high and high school together at Holy Savior Menard. At Menard, they did Cross Country, track and field, and basketball together in addition to taking almost all of their classes together. They always pushed each other to be their best growing up whether it was in academics or athletics. Ben has also always been Kent's kindest teammate on and off the court and has a way of making those around him feel included. Ben will be an asset manager for JP Morgan starting this summer.

Mason is Kent's younger cousin by five years. Kent first met Mason over an ultrasound machine. Kent and Mason grew up going to the beach and spending time at their grandparents together. When Kent moved to Lafayette to attend UL, Mason's family became his home away from home. Kent spent many evenings at their kitchen counter doing engineering projects while Mason also worked on school assignments while taking breaks to watch funny videos. As Kent finishes a chapter in life, Mason starts that chapter, so Kent has gotten to be there over the years and offer advice as well as be his confirmation sponsor. Kent and Mason share a sense of humor are always able to make each other laugh. Mason is a freshman at UL majoring in business.

Matthew and Kent started going to school together when they were in third grade, but they really became friends once they reached 7th grade. Throughout their time at Menard together, they did cross country, robotics and other various clubs together. Matthew and Kent then went to UL together. Matthew has been a constant friend to Kent in all stages of his life. He has always been there when Kent needed to take a break and hangout. Matthew has always had a way of bringing the best out of challenges as well as pulling humor out of them as well. Matthew is graduating this winter with a masters in architecture from UL, where he got to make the best out of challenges project after project.

Christian is Grace's first cousin. They were basically raised together, so he serves as her honorary brother. They went to school, swam, and shared a love for music together growing up. Kent first got to know Christian as soon as Kent and Grace started dating, and they have been friends ever since. Grace, Kent, and Christian have spent a lot of holidays and birthdays together over the years, and they plan on spending them together as a family for the long run. Christian is always ready to team up with Kent to pick on Grace. Christian is graduating this winter with a criminal justice degree from NSU and will the start a career in law enforcement.

Kent and Colby met each in college through Grace and Lauren Hebert, Grace's Matron of Honor and Colby's wife. After meeting, Colby joined Sigma Chi where he and Kent became great friends through the chapter Bible Study and serving on the chapter leadership team and SGA together. On Kent and Colby's various trips and hangouts over the years, they have had a lot of deep conversations that challenged and strengthened each other views and beliefs. Colby and Lauren are Kent and Grace's double date couple, and they went to to all of their college dances and events together as a group. Colby now works on various staffs in Washington DC.

Gabe and Kent became friends at the Menard elementary school cross country camp before starting junior high together. Over the Menard years, they did cross country, student council, and multiple other clubs and sports. By the last couple years of Menard, they were even leading the elementary cross country camp together. Gabe is extremely intelligent and uses that intelligence to fuel his own brand of comedy. Gabe is the funniest person Kent knows when he is trying to be funny and not trying to be, and he has provided. Anything that has happened in their friends lives, Gabe has been able to turn into a meme. Gabe is currently attending LSU medical school in New Orleans to be a pathologist.

Blaine and Kent have known each other since Pre-K where they used to play made-up games on the play ground. They grew up together, but really became good friends once they got 7th grade at Menard. At Menard, they did student council, robotics, and other clubs together. Blaine is thoughtful and intentional. He always has been great at praying for Kent and Grace and their families, and he always makes it point to check in on how everyone is doing. He is always down for long a conversation and is always ready to reflect and process events and give advice and opinions. He is in his final years of studying at Notre Dame seminary to be a priest for the diocese of Alexandria.

Jonathan and Kent went the same church and school growing up and did cross country and musicals together at Menard, but their they became close friends through going to UL together where they did Bible studies and helped youth group together. Jon is always down to go with the flow and go on an adventure. He is great at taking a normal conversation and turning it into a deep thought provoking one. Jon has a heart of service for God and is always looking to grow his relationship with God. This lead him to serving as a Christ in the City missionary in Denver and Philadelphia after college and being a role model of service to Grace and Kent.

Samuel and Kent met Kent's sophomore year at UL through Sigma Chi and Our Lady of Wisdom. Their friendship really started though when they went on a 26 mile hiking trip to Arkansas that ended being five days of sitting in a tent while it rained trip. Despite the weather, Kent and Sam had an awesome trip talking and making up multiple versions of Uno. Sam and Kent spent the rest of college leading Sigma Chi and Bible studies and goofing off together. Sam has been a reliable friend to Kent and Grace over the years and has been there with them to celebrate and go through the stages of college and after with them. Sam is working as bank lender apprentice at Rayne State Bank.
