What time should I arrive to the venue?

Swallow Creek Ranch is a working cattle ranch, so guests must be shuttled from the parking site to the ceremony. Shuttles will run from 2:30-3:10, so we recommend you give yourself some extra time to get to the venue before the ceremony starts.

What date should I RSVP by?

We kindly request that you RSVP on our wedding website by June 15th.

What will the weather be like?

Great question! Since our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors, you’ll want to be prepared for the weather. In August, the high temperature is generally around 68 degrees and the low temperature averages 54 degrees. The ceremony will be on a hilltop bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, so it is likely to be sunny and breezy during the ceremony. Our reception will be held inside historic dairy barn at Swallow Creek Ranch, which was built in 1863. We will have heaters (and dancing!), so we expect the barn to be comfortable during the evening hours.

What is the dress code?

We ask that you wear semi-formal attire such as a cocktail-length dress for women and a suit or dress shirt for men.

Where should we stay?

Each of the surrounding cities of Cayucos has its own charm and there are many terrific lodging options to consider. We have provided a number of suggestions in the lodging section, but you really can’t go wrong! We hope you enjoy your time on the Central Coast as much as we do!

What time should I arrive to the rehearsal dinner?

Please arrive at 5pm for a cocktail hour and dinner. We can't wait to celebrate with you!
