Activities

The Central Coast is filled with things to see and do, so if you have extra time while you are in the area, here are a few activities you may wish to consider!



Cayucos-

–Book surf lessons, kayak tours or rent surf gear at Good Clean Fun

–For a one of a kind experience book a seaweed foraging tour w/ Marley Family Seaweeds

–Hike the bluffs and explore tidepools along the Estero Bluffs State Park

Cambria-

–Check out the Fiscalini Coastal Hiking Trails for easy and enjoyable walking in Cambria.

–Head North to San Simeon to visit the Hearst Winery, San Simeon Pier, beach and hiking trails on the headland.

–Book a tour to visit Hearst Castle

–Take a drive to view the incredible elephant seal colony.


Morro Bay-

Morro Bay is best known for its volcanic peak, Morro Rock. There is a beautiful state beach that offers swimming, surfing and miles of shoreline. Playful sea otters and sea lions are frequently spotted from the embarcadero. If you want to get a closer look at the marine life, you can rent kayaks or take a boat tour, or just enjoy lunch at one of the many waterfront eateries.

Morro Bay Whale Watching

Morro Bay Golf Course is a great local, public golf course

–Visit Montana d'Oro, a majestic State Park best known for its majestic peaks and panoramic ocean views and where Caleb proposed to Grace! Endless hiking and mountain biking trails for a wide variety of skill levels. The Bluff Trail is a scenic walk appropriate for all skill levels, while Valencia Peak is a more challenging option.



San Luis Obispo -

Home to Cal Poly, Grace and Caleb's alma mater, SLO is a lively college town with shopping, delicious dining options and an iconic Farmer’s Market every Thursday from 6 PM – 9 PM.



Paso Robles-

a 30 minute drive East over Hwy. 46 leads you to this popular wine town with more than 200 wineries to visit.

–Explore Paso Wine and visit our local wineries each with their own character, charm and delicious wine! Some wineries require advance reservations, but many are available on a walk-in basis.
