September 2021: Our first meeting.
Jonathan was invited to play board games at my college house due to his childhood friendship with our mutual friend Connor (best man). We met playing a card game and were seated next to each other.

October 2021 – April 2022: Friendship.
Our friendship continued to grow as he attended our Rocky movie marathon, and other spontaneous get togethers. In addition, Grace would visit Jonathan to watch the Bills games.

May 2022: Graduation party.
To celebrate my impending graduation, Jonathan came to visit along with many other friends to enjoy a Grace-created evening of Survivor challenges. At Grace’s graduation, Jonathan was elected to sound Grace’s air horn each time one of our close friends crossed the stage, leading to his prompt arrest (just kidding).

September 2022 - February 2023: Football.
After Grace moved to Jacksonville, FL to start her career as a CPA, our shared love of football led us to text during each Bills game as the 2022 NFL season began. Jonathan’s Falcons were causing him great sorrow (ending in a 7-10 record). As playoffs began, we realized we would like to keep in touch even when football season is over.

March 2023: Spring Break.
Jonathan and our dear friend Keenan (groomsman) made the trek to Jacksonville to visit for Covenant’s Spring Break. This is when we knew this was a relationship worth pursuing. (Including some less than subtle letters written to each other shortly before parting ways).

May 13th, 2023: The Beginning.
Jonathan wanted to see me so much, that he vacationed to Jacksonville Beach to celebrate the completion of his Covenant education. Jonathan asked me to be his girlfriend on the road trip to Jacksonville where he will move after our wedding. The past two and a half years of dates, road trips, adventures, and time with our families have been such a delight, and we are excited to spend the rest of our lives together.

October 25th, 2025: Engagement.
While vacationing with the Glaze family at Daytona Beach, Jonathan took Grace to the tallest lighthouse in FL and proposed on the top balcony. We are so excited to celebrate with everyone at our wedding!
