Our dress code is Semi-Formal. No flip flops or white gowns, please. Ties are encouraged, but not needed as it may be hot. The venue is outdoors, so wear floor length attire at your own risk.
Will there be dancing?
Yes, we will have dancing after dinner starting with the classics and flowing into pop as the evening progresses.
What is the closest airport?
Norfolk Airport is about an hour and 15 minutes north of the venue.
Are kids allowed?
Although many children are special to us, please limit your party to those listed on the invitation.
Am I going the right way to the venue?
There is a huge blimp hangar beside the venue, you cannot miss it. We will have signs directing you to parking before you enter what appears to be a private drive.
When should I arrive?
Please plan to arrive between 3:30 and 3:45 to allow time to park and be seated prior to the ceremony. If you would like to pet the donkeys before you park, please allow an additional 5-10 minutes as their cuteness is difficult to resist. Venue parking (beyond the donkeys) will open at 3:30.
I have dietary restrictions, will you have food I can eat?
We will serve a buffet dinner including entrées: Beef, stuffed jumbo shrimp, and chicken. In addition, we will have the following hors d'oeuvres: chicken skewers, taco cups, and scallops.
