The Ceremony will be located at a secret overlook a few minutes from the lodge. There is seating for 50 guests for the Ceremony. Therefore, we ask to please allow our senior guests and close family priority over seating. There will be areas to stand as well. The ceremony will be short and sweet. We suggest comfortable type shoes as there is a little trail to walk through for the Ceremony (about 1/8 mile).

IMPORTANT CEREMONY INFORMATION! Our wedding ceremony is special - so special that it’s not on the park map! Known as the secret overlook, an unmarked trail will lead you into the forest, opening up to a view of the mountains, a waterfall, and our ceremony spot. PLEASE CARPOOL and Park in the Fall Creek Falls Waterfall Overlook parking area, and from there we will have people shuttling to the secret over look trail. The shuttle will start at 3:30 EST. The last shuttle will go at 4:30. If you know it will take you a minute to walk the trail to the ceremony we ask that you are there for an early shuttle. If you are to miss the shuttle you will have to make your own arrangements to walk to the ceremony trail but will not be allowed in after 4:45 EST. There is not parking at this trailhead. If you are confused about these directions, go to the park’s visitor center for directions on the park map. **Please be warned: some cellular carriers may not have service once close to the park, so plan accordingly with “old school” directions** Please feel free to reach out with any questions. Thank you again for being the most important people in our lives.
