It all began in January 2022 on the dating app Hinge. Jake was getting his MBA, mastering the art of PowerPoints and networking; Gracie was a junior in college and rocking straight A's (humble brag). Jake quickly swept Gracie off her feet--and then into the gym. Yes, he got her into working out. She thought she was signing up for romance, not squats. In return, Gracie introduced him to the finer things in life: Einstein Bagels. Then came the trip. Jake went on a boys' trip to Arizona, came back, and casually said, "Wanna move across the country?" And instead of blinking twice, Gracie said, "Sure, why not?" So they packed up their lives and moved to the desert on a whim. No five-year plan, just a gut feeling and a whole lot of love. And just when Gracie thought Jake couldn't surprise her anymore--he proposed. But not just any proposal. He popped the question at a backstage event for Dave Ramsey--yes the finance guy. Surrounded by fellow podcast nerds he got down on one knee and made it official. Now here they are--engaged, still in love, still going to the gym together, and still winging life one spontaneous, heartfelt decision at a time.

As an alternative to the Sofitel Hotel, the Whitehall Hotel offers rooms at a rate of $164 per night with an additional $56 fee per day for parking. We do not have a room block for this hotel.
