Tera was Caitlin's "random" roommate during their freshman year at the University of Arkansas. From day one of college to now—despite the 6-hour drive between them—Tera has been a constant presence in Caitlin's life. Whether it's supporting Caitlin in working out, planning trips for their friend group, or being there to chat, Tera is always there. Caitlin can't imagine navigating life without her!

Tyler is Grant's older brother and has literally always been there for him since day one, serving as his role model. Growing up, Grant often tried to keep up with Tyler, and now they enjoy friendly competition in various sports and activities. They spend quality time together, traveling, golfing, attending Chiefs games, and enjoying weekends at the lake.

Makenna is Caitlin's younger sister and built-in best friend. She can always make Caitlin laugh until she has tears in her eyes, and Caitlin can always count on her for an honest opinion. Without saying a word, Makenna can tell exactly what Caitlin is thinking and feeling with just a glance.

Kyle is a dependable, loyal friend who always brings the energy and fireball. Kyle and Grant both attended Oklahoma State University, and Kyle frequently accompanied Grant on road trips to Arkansas to visit Caitlin and her friends. He’s also made numerous trips to Kansas City and the lake to spend time with both Grant and Caitlin.

Lindsay and Caitlin met in high school and became close friends. Lindsay has always pushed and challenged Caitlin with her dedication to everything she does, her selflessness, and her unwavering loyalty. Although they attended different colleges and had busy schedules, they always made time to catch up and prioritize their friendship.

Alex and Grant have been friends their entire lives thanks to playing basketball, soccer, and baseball together. One of Grant's favorite memories is creating mini golf courses at Alex's house as a kid. Alex went to Benedictine College to run track, which made it convenient to play a round of golf or grab a bite to eat once Grant was in KC, too. Now a teacher and coach in Texas, Alex visits Grant and Caitlin during his school breaks.

Destiny met Caitlin through a mutual friend and ended up living with her during their junior year of college. In the first week of becoming roommates and friends, Caitlin planned a hike for all of them to join. Destiny signed up for the 6-mile hike without hesitation, only for Caitlin to later find out that Destiny actually dislikes long hikes, especially in the heat. Destiny is the kind of friend who is always consistent, kind-hearted, easygoing, and genuinely everyone's biggest cheerleader.

Harald was a year younger than Grant, but they became close friends through playing baseball in high school. The two often reminisce about their high school days, especially their championship-winning double play in the annual 4th of July Glen Winget Memorial Tournament. Harald has always had a great sense of humor and has remained a loyal friend. Although he now lives in Minnesota, Harald and Grant stay connected by playing Xbox together every other night. Grant also looks forward to visiting Harald whenever he has work trips to Minneapolis.

Kelly grew up with Caitlin and Makenna as a second sister, often called Lisa's "red-headed daughter." They shared countless memories, including sleepovers, stage productions, and eventually started their own babysitting business, KC Kid-Sitting. No matter how much time passes between hangouts, Caitlin and Kelly always pick up right where they left off. Caitlin knows Kelly will always have her back and be there for her.

John and Grant have been friends since childhood but became especially close in high school, playing basketball and baseball together. During their senior year, they would play a daily game of Catan before baseball practice. John attended TCU, but whenever he returned to Bartlesville for a break, he and Grant would fall back into the old routine of playing Catan, heading to the lake, and shooting hoops.

Sydney and Caitlin grew up in the same cul-de-sac, walking to school and playing together every day. They both later attended the University of Arkansas, and whenever Caitlin needed the comfort of home, she’d call Sydney to meet up. Sydney also played a key role in supporting Caitlin and Grant’s relationship during college, letting Grant stay in her apartment while Caitlin lived in the sorority house, which didn’t allow boys. Sydney is always supportive, fun-loving, and ready for anything!

Grant and Holden have been friends for as long as they can remember. They spent lots of time together growing up, playing pool basketball, having poker nights, and holding weekly study sessions in high school. Although Holden went to Kansas State University and Grant attended Oklahoma State University, they made a point to visit each other for the K-State vs. OSU football games and tailgates. Holden now lives in Collinsville, Oklahoma, but he often visits Grant in Kansas City.
