Q + A

Have a question not listed?

Please do not hesitate to message Grayson or Desiree for ANY questions or thoughts that would help make this day easier as a whole!

Am I allowed a plus one?

This is a question that should be asked directly to the Bride or Groom via text or email! As well in the RSVP section, please list their name and we will get back to you personally if we have enough space for your plus one!

How many people can I bring (within my family) since Only I received the invite link?

This is a very personalized question and it is very likely that I only sent out the invite to one member of the family and we have since talked personally about who can come! If for any reason I mistakenly left out someone's name, just let Grayson or Desiree know by text! Also within the RSVP there is a space for who you are requesting to bring, PLEASE list everyone's name that you would like/or plan to bring along with you so that we can account for each person !!

When do I need to RSVP by

Due to our short timeline we are asking everyone to RSVP BY: The 21st of February! IF NO RSVP IS UNDER YOUR NAME WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ACCOUNT FOR YOU! As this allows for a month in advance to gather an accurate headcount, number of meals, chair count, etc. If however you do not know by then or are having trouble with navigating the website, PLEASE reach out to Grayson or Desiree so that we may manually RSVP you!

What airport should I fly into if traveling out of state?

We recommend flying into Denver International Airport (DIA) or Colorado Springs Airport (COS). If you're looking for affordable fares, Frontier Airlines is a great option but only flies into DIA not COS. From DIA, it’s about a 3-hour drive to Salida (The Venue Location), while COS is roughly 2 hours away. Many other airlines do fly into COS airport! For added convenience, you could book a hotel near the airport you fly into and rent a car for the drive to and from the venue. This option works especially well if you're only planning to stay near the venue for the day and looking to have a reliable source of transport for your time here!

What city should I be looking for a place to stay the night?

For the nights you choose to fly into CO until you wish to leave, we would recommend the current cities: ~Salida (closest to venue) Within downtown Salida, would be ideal because this would allow for a walk to the venue and back when it's over! ~Buena Vista (Not far, super fun town to visit!) ~Twin Lakes (Very small town with the most beautiful scenery out of all the options! Little more of a drive from Venue) ~Mount Princeton, Resort (This is a resort so will be a little more pricey, but a beautiful place and with your stay you get access to the hot springs, heated pools, bar and spa!) ~Colorado Springs (I would recommend the springs if you are flying out of COS airport, only downside is driving/Uber after the wedding, but the morning/day after would be a breeze) ~Denver (I would recommend the springs if you are flying out of DIA airport, only downside is driving/Uber after the wedding, but the morning/day after would be a breeze)

When should I fly in/Leave?

Flying in is completely up to your preference, the ceremony will start at 2:00 pm on March 21st. We would recommend flying in on March 20th! However if you fly in on the 21st, we would recommend you select a flight that arrives in CO early, to ensure you have time to check into your place, get pretty and be on time! ~ ~ As for leaving we would recommend the earliest you leave would be March 22nd to ensure you can celebrate our special day with us, the full time, with no stress of having to leave due to a late night flight!

Do I need to rent a car?

It’s entirely up to you! It may depend on the timing of your flights and your plans while in Colorado. Many of our friends and family will have their own vehicles and would be happy to help with carpooling. However, if your flight is early the morning after the wedding, we recommend considering an Uber or a rental car for convenience.

Why does the invite say Salida when the save-the-dates mentioned Mount Princeton?

Thank you for noticing this detail! While our initial plans were for Mount Princeton, life had other ideas, and we encountered a few unforeseen challenges with that venue. After much thought, prayer, and trust in God’s guidance, we found the perfect alternative just 20 minutes away in Salida, CO. This new venue offers breathtaking scenery and a welcoming atmosphere that we know will make your visit even more memorable. For those who booked accommodations near Mount Princeton, you’re still in the perfect spot! The drive is short, and the neighboring towns remain convenient for all your plans. We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate this joyous occasion with you in beautiful Salida!

Are Kids Allowed?

Please feel free to bring your kiddos, as we have a few within the wedding party! Or you could use this time as a getaway or vacation, just know they are welcome!!

Can I bring my own alcohol?

We will have a variety of drinks at the bar for everyone to have a couple drinks on us, but the venue also has plenty more options for anything outside of what we will be providing! Per insurance policies of the venue, we cannot bring our own alcohol!
