Greg and I first met in a way that’s fitting for this modern love story—online! Greg, originally from SoCal, but at the time was currently living & working as a firefighter in Northern California while I was pursuing my nursing career living in the Bay Area. Neither of us could have predicted that a simple swipe would be the start of something so life-changing.

From the very beginning, we bonded over our love for adventure, good food, similar music taste, and spending time with the people who mean the most to us. It wasn’t long before we realized that our connection was something truly special.

South Lake Tahoe quickly became a backdrop to some of our favorite memories—whether we were hiking in the mountains, catching sunsets on the beach, or simply enjoying adventures by the lake. It was in that very place, surrounded by wonderful memories, that Greg got down on one knee and asked me to spend forever with him.

As our love grew, so did our dreams. We’ve built careers we’re proud of, and together, we’ve built a life that feels even more fulfilling because we’re by each other’s side.

Now, as we start this new chapter together in Southern California, it feels only right to return to the place where so many beautiful memories were made. Tahoe will forever hold a special place in our hearts, and we couldn’t be more excited to say “I do” surrounded by our closest family and friends, in the place that started it all.
