If you have never been to Tahoe visiting heavenly village is a must! It’s a complex with 40 plus shops and restaurants with live music and outdoor activities all around! Perfect for walking around and exploring.
Check out Base Camp Pizza Co. - this is one of Greg and I’s favorite pizza places to eat in heavenly village with live music and an outdoor patio! Try the Thai pizza (;
A couple other favorite restaurants of ours in heavenly village are McPs Taphouse Grill & Fire +Ice interactive Grill and bar.
Check out Emerald Bay State park!
Emerald Bay is one of the most popular spots in Lake Tahoe, and it’s easy to see why. Go check out the views by driving around the lake or hike to Eagle Falls, or visit the historic Vikingsholm Castle which is a hike down from emerald bay. If you're up for it, you can kayak or paddle board in the bay, or just take a walk along the shore and relax. It’s a must-see while you’re here!
Head down to one of Greg and I’s favorite beach spots right across from Camp Richardson. You can park on the side of the road or pay for parking a little closer to the Grove beach bar and grill and walk to the beach along the path.
The Grove is a great place to eat right on the lake. The Grove has a live band playing on the outside patio and the beach has plenty of activities like renting a jet ski or paddle boarding! Get the rum runners (; they are our favorite!
We recommend to go earlier in the day to get a spot as all the beaches in Tahoe get crowded during the summer.
About a 40 min drive to the west side of the lake a great beach with multiple restaurants located on it. The parking here is smaller and limited so be sure to get there earlier.
If you’re looking for more fine dinning this is one of our favorite spots in south lake to eat with beautiful lakefront views on their outdoor patio. Order a “wet woody” it’s their signature drink.
