Our Wedding

Our story began long before we ever met. We both grew up in Granite Bay, California, yet somehow never crossed paths. After high school, Greg moved to Long Beach for college while Chelsea headed to San Diego. While we were building separate lives in different parts of California, fate was quietly at work — our parents became the best of friends.Years later, both of our families traded California for the charm of the South Carolina Lowcountry, settling on beautiful Callawassie Island. Greg made the move in 2021, and Chelsea followed in 2023. What began as an easy friendship quickly turned into something more as Greg showed Chelsea all of his favorite Lowcountry spots — from local restaurants and waterfront sunsets to hidden gems around town.Before long, we realized we had found exactly what we had been looking for all along: each other.On Christmas Day in 2025, Greg proposed, making the holiday one we will cherish forever. Now, as we prepare to say “I do,” we are also preparing for our most exciting adventure yet — welcoming our baby girl in July 2026.We feel so grateful for the journey that brought us here and cannot wait to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by the people we love most!!!

Recommended Locations: Beaufort, SC — The closest option to our venue, Beaufort is a historic coastal town with a scenic waterfront, charming downtown, and classic Lowcountry character. It’s peaceful and walkable, with several boutique hotels, guesthouses, and short-term rentals within easy driving distance to the ceremony and rehearsal events. Hilton Head Island, SC — About 30 minutes from Beaufort, Hilton Head offers resort-style amenities, beaches, and world-class golf. It’s livelier with more dining and shopping options, making it a great choice for families or guests who want to extend their stay for a mini-vacation. Bluffton, SC — Located between Hilton Head and Beaufort, Bluffton’s Old Town along the May River features local shops, restaurants, and a relaxed small‑town vibe. It’s a convenient middle ground for guests seeking charm and easy access to both the wedding events and nearby attractions.

Beautiful, natural beach just outside of Beaufort, with scenic walking trails and a historic lighthouse to explore. It’s the perfect spot for a laid-back, relaxing beach day with family and friends. Pro tip- Johnson Creek Tavern, is right on the way if you’d like to grab food after or before the park.

Hunting Island State Park

Beautiful waterfront area in Hilton Head Island known for its iconic lighthouse, beautiful beaches, marina views, and charming shops and restaurants. Renting bikes and riding all around the area is really popular and a great way to explore.

Harbour Town

Savannah is one of our favorite places to visit—a beautiful, lively, historic city right on the water. It’s filled with charming parks and squares, great shops, jrooftop bars, and amazing restaurants, with Forsyth Park being a must-see. It’s an easy drive from Beaufort, making it the perfect day trip with so much to do. The city really comes alive at night for anyone looking for a fun evening out. If you’re interested in history, the hop-on hop-off tours are a great way to explore. For something a little spookier, Savannah is known for its ghost and cemetery tours. Restaurant recommendations: ￼ Vicks on the River (VRG)- one of our favorites! Collins Quarter PJ Thai The lost square- our favorite rooftop bar overlooking the city and water! Yummy cocktails and small appetizers. The Pink house- upscale dinner, reservation required. There is a beautiful speakeasy underneath the restaurant that you can walk into for happy hour/ dinner- highly recommend!!

Downtown Savannah

Old Town Bluffton is a historic and charming district in Bluffton, South Carolina, known for its blend of history, art, and Lowcountry culture, situated on the May River. Visitors can explore unique boutiques, art galleries, and restaurants, walk along cobblestone streets lined with live oaks, and enjoy outdoor activities like kayaking or visiting waterfront parks. Key attractions include the Heyward House, the Church of the Cross, and the Bluffton Farmers Market, all set within a National Register Historic District. Downtown Beaufort is a charming waterfront area filled with local shops, restaurants, and beautiful views along the marina. It’s perfect for a relaxed stroll, especially around Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park, where you can enjoy the scenery, swings, and coastal breeze. Restaraunt recommendations: Low country produce and market café- Breakfast/Brunch Rain n’ Bagels- breakfast The Old Bull Tavern- one of our favorites!
