what time should I arrive to the ceremony?
We recommend arriving around 4:00PM, the ceremony will begin at 4:30 pm.
where is the ceremony and the reception?
Both the ceremony and reception are at the Callawassie Island Club House. It is a short walk from the ceremony to the cocktail hour and reception.
Will the wedding be indoor or outdoor?
The ceremony and cocktail hour are outdoors.
The reception will primarily be indoors, with a beautiful outdoor patio!
What is the attire?
Semi-formal/ cocktail attire- For women, think: dresses, elevated jumpsuits, heels, wedges, or chic flats. For men: Dress pants with a blazer, dress shoes/loafers.
Southern flair is encouraged!
What will the weather be like?
March in Beaufort is typically beautiful spring weather. Around mid-March, daytime temperatures around 70s°F. It does cool down at night, we recommend bringing a light jacket or shawl.
WHAT ARE THE PARKING / TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS?
There is plenty of parking at the venue.
For those staying in Beaufort, we will be setting up shuttles to take guest to Callawassie Island and back. We will provide more information as we get closer!
Please let us know on the RSVP if you will be taking advantage of the shuttle, so we can give them a headcount.
CAN I BRING A DATE?
If your invitation is addressed to you alone, we kindly ask that you join us solo. Thank you for understanding as we keep our guest list intentionally intimate.
Are children invited?
We adore your little ones, but this evening is planned as an adult celebration. We hope you enjoy the chance to dress up, stay out late, and dance freely!
