Spend time with your friends and family exploring the Halifax Waterfront, where you will find unique cuisine, quaint cafés, the Discovery Centre and Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, and plenty of fun shops to explore.

Point Pleasant Park is located in the south end of Halifax, and is a wonderful place to stroll with a warm drink. Explore a wooded retreat with vast water views right in the core of the city.

Enjoy one of Halifax's oldest breweries while tackling classic arcade games you remember playing when you were young. Propeller Brewing and Arcade is located in the North End, but is walking distance from downtown.

Skating at the Emera Oval is a staple in Halifax for those young and old. Skate rentals are available free of charge, and skating aids are provided to those who require them. Check their website for open skate times.

Ferry across the Halifax Harbour to the Dark Side, where you will find incredible restaurants, bars and breweries (The Canteen, Dear Friend, Lake City Cider to name a few of our favourites), unique local shops, and an indoor nordic spa (nature folk) located in the old Dartmouth City Hall.

If you are spending a few days in Halifax, and want to venture out of town, Sensea Nordic Spa is a stunning outdoor thermal spa with hot and cold pools, saunas, fire pits, and more. You will require a reservation, which can be challenging to secure, but is well worth getting if you are looking for a unique spa experience.
