It wasn’t a sudden romance, in any sense, bursting onto the scene like a firework. It was more of a slow trickle that turned into a winding river that ebbs and flows, slowing down at times but never coming to a full stop. And it all started when a boy met a girl at a table in front of a Taco Bell. They decided to become friends and that friendship would change both of their lives forever. It was your typical college friendship hanging out with friends, late night studying, and complaining about classes, but it all changed during Sophomore Year of college. Both of them facing some of the hardest times in their life, they turned to each other for support. Vulnerability turned into honesty, honesty turned into trust, and trust turned into something more. They weren’t quite sure what “IT” was, but with the help of a friend they came to realize that “IT” was love. They would use this period of their life as the foundation of a relationship that would withstand any trial and tribulation that they would face. Understanding that no matter the problem, no matter the pain, and no matter the distance that they would choose each other, every time.
