When and where is the wedding?

February 8, 2023 at La Jolla Bataan Philippines.

There is a church wedding if people are able the week prior.

Is the resort all-inclusive?

It is NOT all inclusive unfortunately, but we’re hoping that our guests are more able to enjoy within their own limits.

What is there to do at the resort?

From the website: “A 1.5 km long beach with fine sand is the centerpiece of this luxury resort where one can enjoy a breathtaking sight of the sunset. Other facilities offered for leisure, sports, wellness, relaxation and entertainment include four (4) swimming pools, an Indoor Game Room, Basketball Court, Tennis Court, Fitness Gym, Spa, Archery Range, KTV (Karaoke) Lounge, ATV Rides, Bicycle Rides, Go Karts, as well as an area for Stargazing.” Water Sports Activities are also available such as Banana Boat, Paddle Board, Kayak and Jet Ski. Notable, is a medical clinic facility with licensed nurses to ensure the safety of the guests as they indulge in these thrilling activities.

Can we book a separate hotel and still attend a wedding?

Yes of course, you may book your accommodations wherever you like and still attend the wedding. You’ll be providing your name upon entrance. If you do book outside of the resort, you will need a driver/car since it is a rural area with no taxi.

What should I pack?

Will there be time for excursions and other activities?

Of course! Depending on the length of your stay, there will be 1-2 excursions set up with the wedding couple for all guests. Outside of that is your time to stay on the resort or travel around.

FLIGHT & TRANSPORTATION RELATED QUESTIONS

How much is the flight?

Plane tickets may range between $800 to $2000 per person. We recommend for the best priced flight to start keeping track with Google Flights, SkyScanner, or Hopper.

What airport should we fly into?

The closest airport is the Clark International Airport (CRK), but Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL) may sometimes be cheaper.

How do we book tickets for flights?

Use the apps to track your flights. When you have booked your flight, contact the shuttle service to set up your transportation. And finally, contact Mr. Arvin Trinidad (aobra@lajollaph.com) at La Jolla to reserve your room.

How do we get to the wedding venue from the airport?

We have partnered with a shuttle service that you may schedule your trip with. They have been given prior notice of the wedding location and group.

WEDDING RELATED QUESTIONS

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

The wedding will be outdoors with an indoor reception.

What will the weather be like?

February is in the middle of dry season so it is fairly hot in the day time and cooler at night. We recommend still bringing a rain jacket or umbrella just in case.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

The capacity is very limited and determined so if your invitation does not indicate an ability to write a plus one, then you are not allowed.

Am I allowed to bring children?

Yes, children of the families have been accounted for in the capacity.

What is the link to the wedding registry?

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

We ask that the wedding be “unplugged” and that we hold off on pictures except for before the ceremony, at the indicated time for photos, and after the exit procession.

Can I post wedding photos on social media?

Yes, we would love for your to post your photos. Please tag us on Facebook and Instagram (@pamsterlaa or @gdtayag) with the hashtag.

Will you be live streaming your wedding?

The Wedding Ceremony will not be streamed.
