It's about an hour drive from the airport to our villa, which would cost about $60USD per Uber or more. To simplify getting everyone to and from the airport I've booked us roundtrip transfers through Discover Vallarta! The van to the villa will be arriving when the very last flight from our group arrives at 5:30pm (so sorry those of you getting there at 3:30!!) so plan on grabbing a margarita and chillin for a bit after getting your stuff from baggage claim! The majority of us are on the Delta flight landing at 4:35pm.
The ride to the airport on Monday the 8th will leave the villa at 11am, which is right when we're required to check out.
DRAMA IS WELCOME IN THE VAN
For my actual bday I've worked with the owner of Heaven on Earth Private Tours to create a custom itinerary for our excursion on December 5th from 10am-4pm ✨
We will meet our captain and private guide at the Los Muertos marina at 10am, which is about 25 mins from our villa. Ubers will be arriving at 8:45am, which will mean we'll get down to the marina with enough time to grab a coffee or bite to eat before boarding the boat.
The tour will take us to Los Arcos (natural wonder), Colomitos (private beach), and Quimixto (30 minute hike to a stunning waterfall) before finally we will go to Las Animas for a lunch, where they have the most incredible fresh seafood served beachside. They'll drop us back off at the marina at 4pm!
Friday night we'll have dinner prepared at the villa by our chef, served at 8pm!
See here for a slightly different but similar itinerary so you know what to bring! I recommend good shoes that can get wet, a swimsuit coverup, sunscreen and a lightweight bag such as a Baggu so you can easily carry whatever drinks you want to bring with you for the day. There will be water bottles and coolers full of ice on board that we're welcome to fill with whatever we want to have along!
And check out Heaven on Earth's IG for an idea of what to expect
This excursion will be $60 per person and we'll be bringing drinks and fruit aboard. Bring pesos for buying lunch on the beach! Brandon, the owner of the excursion company, is friends with the owner of our AirBnb and has kindly given us a $300 discount on our booking 👅
On Saturday the 6th we'll Uber into town at 5pm and walk along the boardwalk or through zona romantica (exact places tbd) for a couple drinks before our 8:30 dinner reservation here! There is a 6 course tasting menu available for around $90 per person I believe, which I think would be fun to all do together, but if anyone would like to order ala carte that's offered as well! After dinner we may head to Andeles 👀 IYKYK
This legendary spot kept coming up on r/puertovallarta and trip advisor as one of the most incredible hidden gems in PV. It just so happens that it's right near our AirBnb, super affordable and delicious, and a marked change of pace from the fine dining the night before. It's supposed to have a warm vibe and really good piña coladas. I thought it seemed like such a fun and charming place to end our trip! Apparently they parade the old man Tony around like an ancient doll to the tables or something! I dunno!
Keep in mind the floors are sand, so leave your heels at the villa 💃
