Jake and Hailey’s story began in the bleachers of the Big House during the 2017 Michigan-Ohio State game. Despite Hailey leaving at half-time and Jake staying for the end of the game, the time they spent together on that first date set the two on the path that led to Jake writing this story today.

From there, Jake and Hailey maintained a long-distance relationship through college and law school, with countless road-trips between Grand Rapids, Ann Arbor, and Chicago. After years of dating, the two finally found themselves a home together in Chicago. Jake and Hailey still live in Chicago today, along with their rescue dog, Dani.

While this wedding is the next step in their journey, Jake and Hailey have spent nearly a decade establishing the foundation of their relationship and building their lives together. The soon to be newly-weds are ecstatic to take this next great step in their lives surrounded by their loved ones who have been with them for this journey.
