The weather in Montana in late May can vary between being mildly chilly or quite warm. The typical temperature on May 25 is usually in the mid 60's; however, historically it has shown to be as low as 59 degrees or as high as 80 degrees. With this in mind, don't forget to bring a jacket!

The wedding will be held at Carl's parents' property in Arlee, MT. The address is 6085 S Couture Lp. For those of you unfamiliar with the local area, Arlee is 20 miles north of the Missoula airport or 27 miles from downtown Missoula and fairly rurual. Note that a private vehicle will be required to reach the property and we encourage carpooling.

There will be no on-site room accommodations, but camping on the property is highly encouraged. Make sure to bring your own tent/sleeping bag/gear if you decide to camp. Also, there should be plenty of room for parking RV's and campers if some of you want to bring those. For those looking to sleep in a bed, we would recommend trying to book an Air BnB in Arlee or the surrounding area. Ninepipes Lodge is also rumored to be a nice place to stay though it is a little further from the property. The closest hotels to the property are probably in Missoula near the airport.

If you are not camping onsite, you will have to drive yourself and park at the property. We looked into getting a shuttle, but it was exorbitantly expensive, so you're on your own. We would encourage you to self-organize and carpool wherever possible. Theoretically there is the option to Uber from Missoula, but it is expensive, and you might be waiting a while.

Parking will be in the field right after you enter through the gate onto the property. Please follow the signs and park efficiently so as to not leave too large a gap between vehicles..

The reception will be held in a field on the property underneath a tent. That being said, the field is grass and not always the most even of terrain. Thus, I would choose footwear with optimal comfort in mind for walking in grass. There will be a dance floor as well, but most of the tent will only have grass as the floor. AKA ladies wear high heels at your own risk. Don't wear the wrong shoes or you might get the blues.

Weather dependent, the ceremony will be held outside (make sure to bring a jacket in case it's chilly), and the reception will be held in a heated tent.

We know that a lot of you have fur babies and might be tempted to bring them to the wedding. While we love most of your fur babies ;) if everyone brought their dog to the camping situation it would devolve into canine chaos (those of you at Carl's birthday party this year get the idea). If and only if your dog can be confined comfortably in your camping vehicle are they allowed.
