I met Megan during the first winter I spent in Whitefish. We became fast friends as we bonded through our love for outdoor adventures. As my birthday twin, 1-year removed, we have built many memories together exploring our natural landscapes through rock climbing, hiking, backpacking, and hotspringing. Aside from our adventures, our friendship is deeply rooted in our shared love of gourmet food, playing Catan, and just being around each other to further speculate about the future to come.

Hannah and I go way back--she's my best friend from high school and we also lived together during our first two years of college. My friendship with Hannah evolved from study-buddy to lifelong friend as we have shared many moments of uncontrolled laughter and memories of adventure and travel that spurred my move out West.

I met Kat through our first winter of ski instructing; however, it wasn't until after we finished our season of towing around screaming children on the magic carpet that we became close friends. Having run and hiked many miles together through the mountains of Montana, we have found a unique friendship that's traveled to many heights all over the state and beyond.

Hannah and I met during our first season of ski instructing at Whitefish. We immediately bonded over our love for winter and delicious food. She and her boyfriend Stephen are the ones who introduced me to Carl; we all remain close friends to this day and are so lucky to have these fun-loving humans in our lives.

Amanda and I became friends during the first winter we both spent in Whitefish. We bonded over our love for dogs, baking, and time spent in the mountains. She also let me live in her driveway in my van. Our friendship has been filled with endless conversations over long trail runs and many dogs.

I met Rhiannon during my first winter in Whitefish. We became friends quite easily and rather quickly as we bonded over snowboarding, xc skiing, and hiking. Although she no longer resides in Montana with me, our friendship is still strong as we strive to keep in touch and see each other as often as our busy scheduels allow despite living in different countries.

Rachel and Hailey became good friends through ski school, but mostly Rachel fell in love with hanging out with Hailey's dog, Kota. She lived with us in Whitefish for a year. During that time the three of us bonded over our love for dogs, Catan, Lord of the Rings, and Montana adventures. Although she now resides in Maine, she is a friend to both of us, a member of our dog pack family, and we miss her presence dearly.
