Our Wedding

Hailey and Eric met as blind dates in 2013 at Delta Tau Delta's fraternity formal at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Hailey's roommate was dating Eric's roommate and they asked the girls to come to their formal after having a few Busch Lights that day. Easily convinced, Hailey and her roommate dove 6.5 hours to Nebraska where Hailey and Eric immediately hit it off and were sad to part ways at the end of the weekend. Fast forward a few months to Eric and Hailey taking turns visiting each other in Wichita, where Hailey had her internship and Nebraska, where Eric lived. The Summer fling ended and they went their separate ways. 10 years had passed without any communication, until Eric (again after a few Busch Lights) snap chatted Hailey and asked her to a Colorado Avalanche hockey game while he was there for the weekend with some friends. Before leaving for the game, Hailey told her friends and family that "it wasn't going to turn into anything". Once again, Hailey and Eric hit it off like old times. Eric continued to visit Hailey in Colorado for weddings and ski trips and after a few months, they were driving a U Haul back to Colorado and Eric moved in with his pup, Tripp. Once they settled in, they planned a road trip to Southern Colorado where they went hiking, climbing and camping. Once they reached the top of their (long and strenuous) hike to Ice Lake, Eric popped the question. The rest is history :)
