As far as parking goes, it is public access and there should be PLENTY of spots available. Although, there is a shuttle to and from the hotel, which there is more information on below.
Where should I stay if I am traveling?
We reserved a block of rooms at a nearby(ish) hotel. Our wedding venue isn’t in a super busy location so the hotel we booked is about 25 minutes away. We do ask that the rooms be booked by our friends and family that are traveling out of state, as there are 20 rooms blocked, and more info will be on the invitations.
However; if you’d like to party a bit, there’s a shuttle to and from the hotel and venue, and we recommend booking the night there! The address is: Home2 Suites by Hilton Orlando Southeast Nona 10002 Eagle Creek Sanctuary Blvd, Orlando, FL, 32832
What airport should I fly into if I’m traveling?
The closest airport to the hotel/wedding venue would be MCO ( Orlando International Airport ), but SFB ( Orlando Sanford International Airport ) is an option as well. If you’re on the Van Etten side, SFB might be a great option, as it will only be about 20 minutes away from our homes!
What is the attire for the wedding?
Our wedding is in December, but it is in Florida... That being said, we anticipate it being in the mid to high 70's. Please keep that in mind, but the official dress code is semi-formal!
Can I take pictures and videos during the ceremony?
Short answer is please, NO! We would like to have a completely unplugged ceremony. We have hired an incredible photographer and videographer, and trust them to capture the moment in the best way. We also want all of our friends and family to just enjoy celebrating our love! For the reception, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you want, and don't forget to share them with us! Once we receive the professional photos and videos, we will be happy to share them with everyone. Thank you!
When should I arrive by?
Starting at 3:30, someone will be showing our Guests to the ceremony area. Our ceremony begins promptly at 4 pm, so we do ask that everyone has arrived by then!
Shuttle/Transportation
There will be ONE run on a very large bus from the hotel to the venue! The bus will arrive at 2:30 and be leaving at 3pm ON THE DOT! It is about a 30 minute ride, so PLEASE do not miss this run, or you will most likely need to find other arrangements to get to the venue.
The shuttle will also make runs from the venue to the hotel until about 10pm.
After Party
There will be a mini after party at the hotel after the reception ends! BYOD, feel free to come hang out and keep the party going :)
