I'm Zach, Josh's older brother. I am a resident Interventional Radiologist at Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids. I like to hike, hunt, fish, camp, and travel... My advice for the couple is to find the person that you can trust and take them with you all the way to the end, because life is nothing unless, you have someone to share it with. I think you have both done this and I am so excited to be apart of this day!

Hi, I’m Zane! I’ve known Josh since elementary school. I build power lines for work. I like to spend my days fishing, going on buggy rides and hangout with my friends and family. My favorite memory with Josh was when he reeled in a big ol’ catfish. A piece of advice for the couple is to listen to more country than rap and the marriage will work.

I’m Elizabeth! I’m one of Hailey’s besties from high school. I am almost done with my K-5 teaching degree in science and I’m excited to begin my masters degree in special education through Northern Michigan University. I currently work at the school Hailey and I went to! I enjoy being outdoors, going for hikes, catching frogs, drinking coffee, watching sunsets, doing old lady crafts, and Cody Johnson. I don’t remember the first time I met Hailey. One day she was just there and there hasn't been a dull moment since. I could go days, weeks, even months without seeing Hailey and all of a sudden I get a phone call from her asking me to embark on a crazy, out of the blue, barely thought out idea. Of course, 5 minutes later I’m in my car on my way to do whatever it is, sometimes hesitantly, but nonetheless it’s always memorable. She is my constant reminder to take risks, think big, and to live purposefully. I am grateful that Hailey has found her lifetime adventure partner in Josh. It has been beautiful watching their relationship grow and I’m so excited to be a part of the beginning of their forever!

Hey! I’m Lane, one of Josh’s best friends and a guy I’d call my brother, and I’d met Hailey through him at a great 4th of July Vandeveer party. I’m an apprentice electrician and soon to be journeyman. I spend my days taking long walks on the beach, writing smooth and sensual poetry, hunting, fishing, and doing just about anything with our group of guys. Josh is the only person to ever wake me from a dead sleep due to his ungodly farts, through an insulted wall (good luck Hailey). I’m still figuring out how Hailey is going to continue to tolerate Josh’s bickering and horsing around but she’ll figure it out eventually!

Hey, I’m Sam(i)! I’ve been one of Hailey’s besties since the good ol days of preschool. I’m a junior at Cedarville University studying Molecular Biology (yes, I’m a nerd). My goal is to go to medical school to be an ER doctor. I like to be outside and active, playing sports or hiking, that sort of jazz. Some of the best moments in life were spent with Hailey, but my favorite is when we drove the whole state of Michigan in one day; we watched the sunrise on Lake Huron and sunset over Lake Michigan, finding Michigan marvels on the way. My best advice to the bride and groom would be to keep working for each other and remember, it’s you two together, as a team, against whatever life’s throwing at you. Don’t let the hard times wedge between you guys!

Hey, I’m Danny! I am one of Josh’s best friends. I build power lines as a journeyman lineman. I like to drink Miller Lite, hunt, fish, and hang out with great people. My favorite time with Josh is when us boys went on a hunting trip in Colorado without any idea what we were doing. Josh shot his first bear and Luke shot his first elk. A word of advice for Josh and Hailey would be to be each other’s support system, encourage each other to always strive to be better, and be patient with each other!

Hello, everyone! I'm Kari and I've been lucky enough to call Hailey my friend since our preschool days. This fall will be my fourth year at Lawrence Technological University pursuing a dual major in Interior Design and Architecture, aiming for both a Bachelor's and Master's degree. I'm deeply involved on campus juggling roles as a Resident Assistant, Housing Receptionist, and Vice President of Student Government. When I'm not buried in my studies or campus activities, you'll often find me playing games (could be a card, board, or videogame), baking treats (and of course, enjoying them!), and spending time outdoors, especially with my dog. We have been friends so long that the memory of how Hailey entered my life has faded, but I wouldn't trade our friendship for anything in the world. Life often whirls by, filled with busyness and occasional chaos, but no matter how much time passes, whenever we get together it's as if no time has gone by at all. Hailey is nothing but sweetness, quirkiness, and boundless adventure, making her one of the most remarkable people I know. Through all the years of our friendship, our only disagreement has been her distaste for frosting. Yet, we've found a sweet compromise, I happily indulge in the frosting she scrapes away. It's just one more delightful quirk of Hailey! I’m so happy that Josh and Hailey have found each other. I’m grateful to be a part of their day and excited to see what the journey life has in store for them!

I’m Garrett, I’ve been friends with Josh since he was fresh out of high school. I am studying agriculture at Northern Michigan University. I love to surf, ski, camp, and lift weights. My favorite memory with Josh is when we were skiing in the mountains of Steamboat Springs with nothing but six Busch Lights, an Uncrustable and high spirits.

Hi! My name is Allie. Hailey and I have known each other since middle school but got really close in our sophomore year of high school. I am a medical assistant in an orthopedic office. I love spending time with my family. And my favorite memory is when she threw me a surprise 18th birthday party down by the river and we all ate pancakes and hung out! I would have to say my biggest advice is never go to bed angry, and talking about what’s bothering you even if it makes you uncomfortable is the biggest key to figuring things out! I’m Luke, one of Josh’s buddies from high school and I now work in the HVAC industry. I am an avid hunter and fisherman; I love camping, hiking and anything outdoors. My favorite memory with Josh is from our most recent hunt in Colorado. Josh had just shot his first black bear (while I was asleep in the truck) and we began to process the bear when Josh cut his finger. It didn’t look that bad to me but I had forgotten about one crucial fact. Josh didn’t like the sight of his own blood. He then told me he had to sit down because he was getting queasy. I thought it was hilarious until he looked like he was going to pass out. Luckily, it soon passed and I wrapped his finger and we got back to work. My best advice for the couple is to stay perfect for each other.

I am Josh’s brother (Zach’s) girlfriend, Marissa! I am a travel nurse currently working in the Emergency Department in Kalamazoo. I enjoy traveling and trying new things, but when I’m not doing that I enjoy cooking, reading, watching a romcom, and being a homebody. Hey, I’m Kyle, but I go by Karl. I’ve been one of Josh’s best friends since before I can remember. I work in construction during the winter and haul boats the rest of the year. Hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and boating are some of my favorite activities. One of my favorite memories with Josh is when he came to Tennessee with my family. We fished most of the time, and I watched Josh’s face drop in shock when I hooked myself with a treble hook by ripping the fishing lure out of a tree. My advice for the couple is to be kind, don’t raise your voice at each other, and do activities you both find joy in.

Hi I’m Patience! I’m a friend of Josh’s, we went to the same high school. I currently work for NorthShore Dock & Marine just north of Elk Rapids, working in the office. I enjoy spending my time with 4 year old Lab/Pit mix Levi along with my lovely boyfriend Zane, especially outdoors. One of my favorite memories with Josh & Hailey was finding out about their engagement! They came up to Josh’s parents for 4th of July and I was ecstatic to hear the awesome news. Hi, I’m Sydney! I’m Josh’s big sister. I work as a NEURO/trauma nurse in Scottsdale, Arizona with my boyfriend, Josh, and my pup, Scooter. Reading, hot yoga and spin class are my favorite activities. I also like spending time with my pup Scooter and my boyfriend, Josh (I know, it’s kinda weird). I remember learning that I was going to be a big sister again. At first I was so grossed out, but now I cannot imagine a world without Josh. I am so excited to watch you both navigate life and marriage together. Even more excited to add Hailey to our family!
