We have hired a wonderful photographer to take photos during the wedding and reception. We kindly ask that you refrain from taking your phone out during the wedding (no matter how ethereal Haley looks) and taking your own photos. At the reception, we encourage you to take photos of your table and other guests and sending them to us!

If you attempt to go in the main entrance that is the main thoroughfare, you will not make it to the parking lot without going all around the mulberry bush. There will be two metal gates, go into the first one and park in the parking lot and walk to the back of the building as that is the way to get to the reception hall. If you need to drop someone off, drive up to the back doors, drop them off, park, and then make your way yourself.

We have not reserved a block of rooms because there are a lot of options in the area. We can recommend though: 1. Hilton Garden Inn, 750 Wabash Ave. 2. Candelwood Suites, 721 Wabash Ave. 3. Drury, 3040 S US Hwy 41 4. Home2 Suites, 2625 Lucy Jane Ln 5. Holiday Inn Express, 2645 Joe Fox St

We’re asking that you try to avoid getting to the reception too early. They are planning on everyone showing up around 5pm. If you get there early, you may be put to work. There is assigned seating so getting there early to get prime seating is pointless. Feel free to walk/drive around the campus if you get there too early. St. Mary-of-the-Woods campus is gorgeous.

There will be a cash bar available, but St. Mary’s is a dry campus so alcohol can only be consumed within the reception hall. Do not bring your own. It will be confiscated.

If they are included on the invitation, they are invited. They are included in the “and family” part on the invitation.

St. Mary’s actually has a kids menu and if you’d like this, please make sure Haley or Sean know by March 8th.
