Way back in 2024, Haley and Dawson met at (you guessed it!) the gym. The two didn't pay all that much attention to one another until one day when Dawson asked Haley about church. Dawson quickly got involved at church and started attending Haley's small group. He also quickly developed a crush on her.

After a few polite declines to his requests for a date, Haley came to her senses and accepted an invitation to introduce Dawson to the greatest movie series of all time (Harry Potter, of course. He hasn't read the books yet, but they will get there). Almost instantly, the two fell in love and became inseparable. In fact, after only officially dating for about a week, Haley told her best friend, "This might sound crazy, but I can totally see myself marrying that man." Dawson would tell you he knew he wanted to marry Haley long before they ever started dating.

Based on the wise counsel of trusted friends and the many books they read about dating as Christians, they knew marriage was the goal and thus dated very intentionally. For their one-month anniversary, they went engagement ring shopping! All jokes aside, they both knew from the start that the other was their person. It was only a matter of checking off the boxes on Haley's to-do list before making it official.

Haley and Dawson are ecstatic to start their life together, confident that their union will glorify Christ and honor the earthly covenant of marriage that God established. They look forward to celebrating with their close family and friends. Cheers!
