Q + A

Where can we stay?

We have listed a few great hotels under the travel tab. Sadly there are no inns on Islesboro. We highly suggest looking to Air BnB and VRBO for house rentals on the island. If housing proves a challenge please reach out and we can help.

Are kids invited?

Yes! We are so lucky to have so many amazing children in our lives. All children are welcome for both the ceremony and reception (there will be a kids corner with activities and baby sitters for the evening). *If your kiddo happens to be currently enrolled in one of Miss Currie’s classes, we welcome them to the ceremony, but ask them kindly to head home for the reception.

Day of Transportation

If coming from the mainland: please take the 2:00 ferry. The bus will bring you to the church, and then on to the reception. A water taxi will be making regular trips from the dock at the reception back to Linconville - about a 25 minute boat ride. If staying on Island, please drive to the church (park on the side of the Church Turn Road). Please follow the signs to the reception after. (There will be vans at the end of the night if you need a safe ride home)

What’s for dinner?

We will be having a few different food station options, including Maine seafood, Italian, and some of the bride and groom’s local favorites. There will be late night pizza as well.

Drinks

We will be serving some of our favorite cocktails, mocktails, beer, wine, and champagne for the reception. Please feel free to bring your own if you have a favorite beyond what will be provided.

What is yacht cocktail? And do I have to wear blue?

Yacht Cocktail: Envision what Haley or Nakomis would wear to a regatta after party (any length dress, jacket optional, linen encouraged) Blue: We would love for you all to wear at least a hint of blue (to be the bride’s something blue) and frankly for photo cohesiveness.
