Haley and Matt met through mutual friends the summer of their freshman and sophomore years of high school. Haley was Matt’s first real girlfriend and Matt was Haley’s first real boyfriend. Imagine telling those two young kids that they’d eventually go separate ways only to grow up, fall in love, and commit to spending the rest of their lives together…haha yeah right! However, nevertheless, that’s where it all began…just two young kids who met at the right place and the right time.

Fast forward twelve years later and the world is in the midst of a global pandemic (a time when the only reason one left their house was to restock the shelves with masks and toilet paper). Zoom dates were all the rage and people were reconnecting with their loved ones in ways they hadn’t before. It was during this time that Matt thought it’d be a great idea to slide right into Haley’s DMs and “see how life had been treating her”. After a few months of talking back and forth, and a visit to Destin, FL (where Haley lived at the time), they both knew that “this was it, this is the one”. Shortly thereafter, Matt moved to Destin to start the next season of life with Haley and in July of 2021, the two welcomed their first child, Emma, into the world. After a move back to their hometown, starting new jobs, purchasing a new home, and welcoming their second child, Brooks, in June of 2023, their journey has been nothing short of unconventional but yet undeniably perfect.

Haley and Matt’s wedding marks the official chapter of a journey already painted with shared dreams, laughter, and the promise of forever as husband and wife, and they are extremely excited to share such a meaningful day with all of you!
