The story of us

About a week before October 29, 2022 - Haley commits an act of UGA treason by liking a picture of a guy in a Georgia Tech polo on Hinge. To her surprise, he matched with her. They started texting back and forth and the sparks flew instantly. Kevo finally asked Haley to go on a date and they made plans to do so. October 29, 2022 - Kevo meets Haley at Fogo de Chao and does his best to keep his jaw from hitting the floor as she walked in and gave him a shy little smile (25 minutes late, of course). They had a great first date that felt like a tenth date. They just felt like they’d known each other forever, it was so easy. Kevo knew he was in deep when Haley had to stop and check the college football scores on the way out of the restaurant before he could walk her to her car. Shortly after, Haley had a few health scares and realized she couldn’t commit to a new relationship at that point, needing to focus on her health. Kevo never gave up though. He continued to (annoyingly but sweetly) text and check in on Haley to see how she was doing. Haley never responded… December 24, 2022 - Kevo texted Haley with a “Merry Christmas/hope you’re doing well” message in a last ditch effort to get her back in his life. And to his surprise, she responded! With her health scares mostly behind her, she realized how much she missed having Kevo in her life. They began texting back and forth and quickly started dating again. January 21, 2023 - Haley and Kevo decided that they were spending enough time together that they might as well put a label on it. Enter the boyfriend and girlfriend convo. Over the next couple of months, Kevo spent his weekends at Haley’s apartment, traveling there and back from Cumming each way (an hour drive, one way). With Haley’s lease coming to an end, Gracie’s hatred of Kevo leaving each Sunday, and his needing to find a way to reduce his truck mileage, the two started looking for a place together. They quickly find a beautiful house that would become their home on June 9, 2023. After a few months of nothing but joy and laughter, Haley and Kevo kept waiting for the “moving in arguments” that everyone warned them about to come. But they just never did. Things were easy. Simple. Loving. Good. So good in fact, that Haley started to dramatically and not-so-subtly stare at her left ring finger and comment on it’s plainness. Kevo took the hint and went to work designing the perfect engagement ring and proposal (which would take about 6 months to complete). In the meantime, Haley and Kevo continued to have fun and enjoy living and being together. As an early surprise Christmas present, Kevo brought home a sweet little puppy on November 29th. When Haley finally noticed him in Kevo’s hands, it’s a miracle she made it down the stairs in one piece to cuddle her new boy. She named him Baxter. February 24, 2024 - Kevo had finally finished the ring and had the proposal all planned out. He made reservations at a winery (that Haley had always hinted would be a cute place to get engaged). He hired the photographer. Haley had no idea what was happening. Things were perfect. Until Haley decided she didn’t want to go because “it was just such a good lazy Saturday”. He persuaded her to go by saying “it’s drinking wine and eating meat and cheese. It doesn’t take much effort”. Haley begrudgingly agreed to go, but made it clear she wasn’t happy about it and she drug her feet the whole way. After a few glasses of wine, Kevo tried to get Haley to walk over to the waterfall and bridge, which she also made difficult, but again begrudgingly agreed. Meanwhile, Kevo was racing the sunset to make sure the photographer still had some light left in the day to capture the big moment he knew was coming. Finally on the bridge, in front of a waterfall, with glasses of wine in hand, Kevo gets down on one knee and pops the question. For the first time in her life, Haley was speechless. With nothing to say yet still impatient as ever, she barely nodded yes, then took the perfect ring and put it on her own finger. After the many congratulations and celebrations of the night had settled, Kevo and Haley looked at each other, cuddled up with their 2 dogs, and Haley apologized for being such a pain in the ass and told him that she couldn’t wait for the perfectly imperfect life ahead of them. Some people would say we’re the lucky ones ❤️

Hey y’all. I’m Haley’s favorite younger sister! I currently live in Savannah with my cat and dog. I love going to the beach and traveling when I have the opportunity. I’ve known Haley my whole life so I’ve seen all the ups and downs. But I have to say I couldn’t be happier to share my sister with Kevo!

Hi! I’m Caitlin Keller and I currently live in Hiram, Georgia with my husband, our baby boy, and our four dogs! I met Haley almost 8 years ago at Kennesaw State through AOII. Haley has a way of making everyone feel welcome and at home and I knew from the moment I met her our friendship would be something special. Haley adopted me as her little shortly after I joined AOII and our friendship continued to grow from there. Now 8 years later, Haley is my best friend, an amazing auntie, and soon to be amazing wife! I cannot wait to stand by her side as she marries the man of her dreams.

Have you ever made a friend because there were no options left? Haley has! Hi, I'm Ragan and Haley and I are besties because there were literally no other options left in a room of about 50 women. My favorite memories with Haley are our evenings at the Barrett Parkway Chili's complaining about life until one of us (usually me) has one too many drinks and so we have to aimlessly walk around Target so I can sober up to go home. 

A little about me: I have a cat (Noodles) and a hamster (Parmesan). I enjoy naps, puzzles, legos, and Formula 1. I am single and will be mingling at the wedding ;)

Ragan Lyman

Ashley and Haley met through Greek life at KSU when they both had the opportunity to be Pi Chis, think camp counselors for future sorority girls. Ash was instantly amazed at how incredibly beautiful Haley was and how she was able to make anyone feel welcome. The girls were often found at the tutoring center where their laughter probably prevented others from studying, supplying Ash with enough caffeine to launch a rocket, and always joking around. Fast forward and they decide to become roommates as Haley starts her first post college job and Ash finishes up her last year of college. Since then, their friendship has only grown and recently Haley was there to stand by Ash’s side as she married the man of her dreams. Speaking of the man of her dreams, Ash has never seen Haley smile and laugh as much as she does now with Kevo. Ashley could not be happier for Haley to have such a wonderful and kind man for her friend to have as a partner in life (Ash is obvi the partner in crime). Kevo and Haley visited Ashley and Michael in Florida one weekend.  The moment that Ash knew he loved Haley, was when he helped Haley for hours and they painstakingly pieced back together a sentimental memorial that had been broken. To Kevo and Haley, I am so happy that you two have found one another. You truly exemplify what a loving relationship is and I cannot wait to be by your side as you take your vows. I love you both! P.S. I am working on calling Kevo by his actually nickname and not “boyfriend”

Hey! My name is Vivienne Keane, and Haley was my nanny since I was around 3. Ever since then we have grown really close and she has become a sister to me! I am 15 and currently a freshman at Pope High School in Marietta. I’m a dancer and I love artists such as Taylor Swift, and Zach Bryan! I am so excited to see Haley go through this next stage of her life with Kevo! They both have great things ahead of them!

I'm Dom. I'm Kevo's brother and have known him my entire life, obviously. We are practically the same as we look alike, act alike, and make the same niche references from movies no one also included in the conversation has ever seen. I'm honored to be his best man and his brother.

I'm Kevo's cousin, but to me, he's always been more like a brother. We've known each other our entire lives, growing up together and sharing countless adventures. From playing football and going fishing to filming short films and taking road trips, we did everything together. Kevo's big heart and unwavering loyalty are just a few of the qualities I admire most about him. When he asked me to be a groomsman, I felt incredibly honored. I'm excited to stand by his side on this special day and celebrate the beginning of his next great adventure.

Hi, my name is Ryan Eckert. I'm Kevo's older cousin. I'm 39 years old and I'm a construction manager. I have a beautiful wife and three beautiful children. In my free time I enjoy working out, hiking, going to the beach, and watching sports (football, basketball, baseball, wrestling, UFC, and boxing). I also enjoy watching movies and spending time with my family. I'm a family man, hard worker, and I love Jesus!!

Hey, I'm Sean Bailey. Grew up in Georgia playing high school football with Kevo and Sako. Then moved to North Carolina to play football for East Carolina University. Met my Girlfriend Sydney and adopted our 2 dogs Reagan and Mavis while at ECU. Recently Moved to Texas and am a football coach for the University of Texas at San Antonio.

Trey and Kevo were thrown together as freshman roommates at Georgia Tech. They developed a close bond through 4:30 wake-ups, long walks to practice in the Georgia heat, and the shared experience of starting school in a new city. This bond, grounded in passion for football and futbal, remains strong a decade later and countless moves by both.

Murry “Trey” Smith

I’m Brock, I’m 16, and I’m Kevo’s cousin. I’m really focused on God, school, and wrestling at this point in my life. I love spending time with my family and spare time learning more about my techniques because my end game is MMA fighting. I also want to pursue my desire for welding and get my AWS inspector certification. I love hiking, cliff jumping, fishing, hunting, and vacationing. Being God’s creation is the best place to be.
