The venue we'd booked last autumn unexpectedly cancelled all of their upcoming events, including ours. While this was not a message anyone wants to receive when they are planning a wedding party, especially less than 3 months before the wedding in Massachusetts in the fall, we persevered! The new venue is Granite Coast Brewery, located at 77 Main St unit b, Peabody, MA 01960. The new time of the party is 5-8pm! (only an hour off from the originally timed plan)

That's because your child is welcome to join us at the party! There is an arcade, lawn games, and it will be a very laid-back atmosphere. Childcare/babysitting will not be provided, however, so if you are bringing along your mini-me, please be prepared to keep an eye on them! There are open staircases, a pool/hot tub, and the property is located next to a body of water. Please note when you RSVP if your child will be attending!

We recommend booking a room at the Hilton Homewood Suites or Hampton Inn in Peabody/Boston, and we have a very small room block at the Hilton Homewood Suites. Should you go to book at one of those hotels and find rooms are sold out, please contact Monica or Haley, as we did reserve a number of rooms at the Hampton Inn but they are unable to put them in a block, so we'll need to coordinate with you directly. We also gave options for Salem hotels, but due to their parking limitations as well as pricing, we encourage guests to stay in the Peabody hotels recommended on the "Travel" page. Staying in Peabody also means that you will have access to the pick-up and drop-off shuttle service that we are coordinating from both hotels for the party as well as a parking space for your vehicle if you are driving or renting a car during your visit. Regardless of which hotel you are staying at, we encourage you to book as soon as you know if you'll be able to attend.

We had our "ceremony" at a courthouse several months prior to the reception, with less than ten guests. Neither of us were particularly interested in having any fanfare in regards to our wedding. We simply love one another and want to be together, so that's what the ceremony was about. However, we very much want to celebrate that with all of our friends and family, and have the opportunity to bring all of our people together in one place!

We highly recommend that guests staying in a hotel get their room in one of the two Peabody hotels we recommended, as shuttle service is going to be provided to and from the wedding party venue. For those driving - with the new venue, parking is much more available! There are 6 municipal parking lots within 0.3 miles of the venue. Metered street parking is also available. The City of Peabody installed kiosks and digital meters throughout Main Street and the municipal parking lots. The kiosks take coins, cards and use the PARK SMARTER app. Paid parking is Monday-Saturday 8am-8pm. Do NOT park in the parking lot immediately adjacent to the brewery. They do not own it, and you risk being towed.

Buffet style Italian food will be provided by Three Sweet Peas in Rowley. There will be a variety of options, including vegetarian choices. If you have another dietary restriction, please let us know ASAP and we will do our best to accommodate. Regarding drinks - there will be a full open bar with bartender service. Beer/wine/cocktails provided, as well as several nonalcoholic options.

Whatever your heart desires! Truly, this is just a big party for us, and we just want everyone to have fun. So please wear what makes you feel the most comfortable. If you need more guidance, Monica will likely be wearing the same outfit as depicted on the wedding invitation!

Nope! We know that there are a lot of people traveling for the event, and we wanted to make it as hassle-free as possible, and give you the optimum amount of free time to enjoy a little vacation in Massachusetts during the fall. Please see the "things to do" tab if you need or want any ideas!

Great question - the answer is both! We've rented a mansion with a beautiful yard as our party venue, which provides ample space both inside and out. If there is inclement weather, we will be indoors, but if it's clear skies, feel free to migrate wherever you'd like.

RSVP link is both on our website here and on your invitation. Please RSVP as soon as possible, and definitely by August 16, 2024. Given the location of the party and the time of year, it truly is imperative that you arrange hotel accommodations as soon as you can -- finding a place to stay last-minute in Salem near Halloween will not be fun.

The party ends at 8pm, and there are currently no plans for an after-party. But I encourage people to keep the party going wherever/however they see fit!

This area (north shore MA) is incredibly busy during September and October. We recommend guests coming from out of town book accommodations in the recommended Peabody hotels as soon as you know you're attending. It's also difficult to park downtown anywhere in Salem during this period, but the Peabody hotels have parking lots and you can Uber/Lyft into Salem if you're looking to do some additional fun activities.
