There are three Sandals resorts in St. Lucia. Nightly rates are variable based on which resort you choose.
Our wedding festivities will be held at the Grande St. Lucian, but you certainly may stay at any of the three resorts you wish. There is a free shuttle to and from each of the resorts which begin daily at 10 a.m. daily and run until 11 p.m. in the evening.
Shuttle times between Sandals resorts:
Hewanorra International Airport
You will fly into Hewanorra International Airport. You will need to notify Sandals of your flight information for arrival and departure once booked.
There is free transportation to the resort from the airport. When you arrive, you will check in with Sandals. The commute takes approximately 1.5 hours. The roads are winding (a warning to those who suffer from motion sickness).
There are other options for methods of transportation to and from the resort (available for an additional fee):
Ferry Airport Transfer via Fun to See Island
-Ferry transfer takes approximately 1.5-2 hours.
-Start your vacation right away OR end on a positive as you shuttle back to the airport to return to reality. Either way, there will be complimentary wine, beer, champagne & mimosas provided.
**There are different tiers to purchase, however, it didn't seem to make much of difference when we went. All areas had covering from weather and you are able to move about the boat at your leisure.
Helicopter Airport Transfer
-All helicopter flights are weather permitting.
-Minimum of 4 people needed to fly, with maximum of 6.
-Last flights take off at approximately 5:50 p.m. daily (no flights after sunset)
