We recommend flying into the Albuquerque International Sunport. There may be some regional flights into Santa Fe or Taos but options for rental cars may be limited. From ABQ it will be a 2.5 hour drive to Taos.
Alternatively, you could fly into Denver or Colorado Springs. Denver to Taos is a 4.5 hour drive, while from Colorado Springs it is a 3.5 hr drive.
Car rentals at the Albuquerque airport include Hertz, Enterprise, Alamo and many more. Check out rental car options here: https://www.abqsunport.com/rental-cars/
Note: We've found Ubers/Lyfts incredibly hard to rely upon since moving here. You'll be able to get an Uber/Lyft from the ABQ airport during the day but in the evening, options dwindle. Same with Santa Fe (availability during the day, sometimes no options at night) and don't expect to catch one in Taos at all! So please, look into car rentals or coordinating with other friends or family!
It's a 2.5 hour drive from the ABQ airport to Taos. That said, we recommend stopping along the way! See the "Things to Do" section on this site for our recommendations in Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Taos and more!
There are a few alternative ways to get from ABQ to Taos but you will have to do a little extra research. There is a train called the Rail Runner that goes between Albuquerque and Santa Fe. Here is the website with details. From either Santa Fe or Albuquerque you could coordinate a shuttle service but I recommend doing researching beyond this one option I found which costs $125 from ABQ to Taos.
On Fri Sept 13 & Sat Sept 14th you can tent, car or RV camp with us for free at Hotel Luna Mystica. There are shared showers and bathrooms that you will have access to. Please let Hana/Justin know so we can accommodate you.
We also have a single trailers left for rent at the wedding venue: Jazzy which has a queen bed. Please contact Hana for details if you're interested!
Hotels in Taos are a 15 min drive from the venue. Some historic hotels include Hotel La Fonda or the Historic Taos Inn. On initial search, prices range from $79/night to $230/night.
There are lots of amazing homes around Taos. There should be a wide variety available in September since the height of the rental season is during ski season. There's exciting options like modern bungalows, this interesting dome, earth-ships, and more!
