Can I bring my children?
The Ceremony + Reception on Friday, December 5, is an ADULTS ONLY evening.
Children are more than welcome to attend the Thursday Welcome Party and Saturday’s Bye-Bye Brunch.
What is an “unplugged ceremony”?
Please, please, please leave your phones off and put away for our nuptials. This also goes for the first dance! All the little magical wedding elves are working extra hard behind the scenes to create a special day that is to be experienced firsthand! Not thru your cell phone screen. We have an incredible team of photographers and videographers to capture everything, and we kindly request you help set the container by being as present and in the moment as we are by keeping your phones out of sight, out of mind.
Is transportation available?
Because guests will be scattered around Austin, we will not be shuttling. Instead we have a special discount code for Lyft EVERMORSBACH for discounted/comped rides
Is there parking at the venue?
Yes! There is ample parking provided at Barr Mansion. We ask you drink responsibly and either not drive or designate a driver if you are planning on getting lit.
What time should we arrive?
Ceremony starts at 5PM Central Time.
Suggested arrival between 4:30-4:45PM.
Please arrive before 5PM, giving yourself enough time to account for calling a car and/or navigating Austin traffic on a Friday afternoon, plus time to chit chat and settle into your seats.
What will the weather be like?
Because it will be early winter in Texas, we aren’t expecting it to be too chilly. Dress comfortably for sunset, maybe bring an extra layer. There is always a chance of rain; however, Barr Mansion has an excellent weather plan and reception is indoors.
What should I wear?
Dress code is Formal // Western Formal OK
You won’t need a tux, unless it’s Canadian! Formal attire means suit & tie or nice separates, full length dresses/skirts, pantsuits, smart jackets or shawls, all paired with (your best dancing) dress shoes.
Quality cowboy boots, cowboy hats, and bolo ties are acceptable!

Will there be somewhere on site to leave physical gifts?
Gifts and cards are more than welcome at our ceremony if you'd rather bring one on site than have it shipped or mailed. We registered at Crate and Barrel, but gifts are optional and we are grateful for anything we may receive. If physical gifts aren't your thing, then we will also be adding some memorable experiences to our registry linked here to continue dating eachother even after marriage and kids.
